Como ustedes pueden ver en su página web he estado en muchos hostales pero también en el pasado había estado en muchos hostales y hasta ahora es el de puntuación más baja entre otras aspectos aseo y seguridad pero estoy absolutamente sorprendido de encontrar un hostal que casi no tenga implementos en la cocina que le falte pocillos platos cubiertos casi no tiene LOZA eso dificulta mucho el uso de la cocina

Unfriendly staff, not very social, mainly local workers staying there who just wanted to be left alone, kitchen too small

Overall was an okay hostel but definitely expensive

With my couple I booked a private room with a double bed. Very expensive for the quality of service. 172 nzd per night. Uncomfortable mattress, there was no place to put the clothes or luggage or where to hang. Cold water in the shower.

i’m always going for a budget friendly hostel but this was probably the worst experience i had in a very long while

Im Prinzip ein nettes Hostel, was leider ein ziemlich heruntergekommenes Gebäude hat, was die Räume ziemlich kalt und ranzig wirken lässt. Generell wirkt alles herunter gekommen. Es gibt kostenloses parken!!!

Everywhere was filthy. Bins overflowing in the kitchen area, dirty tea towels, floors benches were unclean. The dining table top hadn’t been cleaned in ages and was sticky and unhygienic. Maintenance appeared to be non existent with blinds in our room broken so we were visible from the street. Broken window catches and door handles. Our bed smelt of stale sweat and other unmentionables. We slept in our sleeping backs to avoid the dodgy bed linen and pillows. To top it all it was expensive.

A perfect location in queenstown not to far but not to close. A decent parking spot.

Despite the bad reviews, I liked the hostel. I was in a ten-bed dorm, which was separated into two sections so it didn't feel that large. Bathroom was okay, not the cleanest and with broken toilets. It's a hostel where you have to go outside to get anywhere, which isn't nice when it's raining. The kitchen is good, I loved the balcony. It gets social without having an annoying party atmosphere. There are also rooms with more privacy. Probably one of the cheapest hostels in QT.

Honest review for all Backpackers- Do not stay at this Hostel! It is the worst Hostel I ever stayed in, hygiene was shocking and the beds felts damp, and smelt mouldy.

Hostel is dirty, staff doesn't care. Arrived the first night and didn't even have a pillow, sheets or blanket on my bed. Staff is not helpful and off-putting. There was an incident where somebody came home completely f**ked up and police had to come, he was completely covered in blood and got blood all over the room, including my bed and nobody came to check on us. Nobody even cleaned the room till two days later and hardly did any cleaning at that. Wasn't offered any compensation. Terrible.

No property manage, no cleaning. They are not worth it.

Nasty kitchen, unfriendley atmosphere, locks didnt work, staff didnt even say hi.

Room was ok however the general venue was unkept and a little dirty. We didn’t actually use the kitchen facilities so unable to comment. Didn’t see Yardley any staff and toilets / showers cleaned at inconsistent times. Felt like it needed a good overhaul or spring clean. Location excellent.

Preisleistung war absolut in Ordnung, es war eher ruhig, aber freundlich. Die Duschen und Toiletten waren etwas verschachtelt und schon etwas älter, aber sauber.

Fix the shower, change the sheets and buy proper curtains. Window to the hallway doesn’t provide fresh air, room was smelling awful.

It is noticable that the hostel is a bit older, but for me personally it made me feel more at home. This is the first hostel I immediately found friends, because Southern Laughters has one thing the other hostels don't (at least not in that way): a great community. In the evening often everybody just gathers and plays (drinking) games and talks. I love it here.

Het hostel is absoluut niet schoon. De vierpersoonskamer heeft een keukentje erbij, waar standaard vieze vaat in de goot staat en de vliegen erboven vliegen. Tevens stinkt de slaapkamer. We deelden de kamer met twee long-term bewoners en kleding, haar en popcorn lag overal. Sfeer in het hostel is verder goed en genoeg ruimte om te chillen. Locatie is goed.

Place was a mess always a mess. The shower kept filling up with water cos the drain was blocked. Fridges were leaking etc etc etc
