3rd year in a row staying at Aviemore Hostel, and we will be returning next year! Fantastic hostel with brilliant facilities, clean, and well maintained. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Great hostel with a large clean kitchen. Great location within walking distance into Aviemore and access to trails. A little dated but clean and functional.

Absolutely loved it, the facilities were fantastic and in a great location for winter sports on the mountain

Friendly atmosphere but looking tired and needing some upgrades/refreshing as it still feels like an 1980s era hostel. There are other better options for this area.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The hostel was very clean and spacious. The living room area was really pretty and the location was at the base of a beautiful hike. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was great too.

Eine etwas in die Jahre gekommene Jugendherberge (hellhöriges Zimmer + knarzender Flur), die jedoch mit nettem Personal und der großen super ausgestatteten Küche überzeugen kann.

I’m sure I’ve written this already. But thanks…. A wonderful adventure of spirit that pervades this hostel perched by a wondrous mountain. I think the calibre of the hikers and adventurers who came to stay at your welcoming hostel are a reflection of the hospitality and generosity that all the staff’s care and respect extended to all. Thankyou. A great experience to be here.

Great overall. PROS: Massive kitchen, clean bathrooms/showers, really nice and helpful staff. CONS: This is not a youth hostel and you should not be advertising it this way. This is the oldest demographic I've ever seen in a hostel. While clean, the showers are really poorly designed with no shelves or anywhere to put your stuff so you have to balance your clothes on the edge of the sink and put your soap on the shower floor. The dryer also left my clothes damp even with only half a load.

Great location with clean facilities. Secure bike storage too. Would like to see more en-suite options but will definitely use again.

Impecable

Most excellent for travellers. Loads of girl hikers in girl groups. Breakfast is something I didn't expect. All in all, I'd stay again on my next bike Ride. Thanks.
