Die Lage ist ganz gut. Im der großen Dorm ist zwar angegeben, dass AC vorhanden ist, allerdings ist das Zimmer in zwei geteilt und nur ein Teil davon bekomm etwas von der AC ab. Das war schon sehr bescheiden bei den Temperaturen. Außerdem sind die Bäder durchgehend unter Wasser. Betten sind ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen.

Der Garten ist echt schön und es gibt viele Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen. Es gab auch Frühstück (Pancakes, Obst und Kaffee) was im Preis mit inbegriffen war und wir nicht erwartet hatten. Leider gab es etwas wenig Gemeinschaftsbäder und man musste häufig warten, und der Großteil der Schließfächer im Dorm haben nicht mehr funktioniert, bzw. konnte nicht richtig verschlossen werden.

Best Hostel in Panama City. It has big spaces, nice pool, big backyard. A/C in the rooms, best service and lovely vibe. Personal staff is really nice and kind. Always there to help you

It's a small oasis in the big city, I slept very well in the quit dorms. It's a tranquil mood. great garden, great dorms. I recommend it !

Be aware!! The Basic Single Private are not private at all. They forgot to mention that they are “semi private”, means they separate a big room into 3 sections with a very thin wooden wall and you can hear absolutely everything, so no privacy at all. I had trouble to sleep as the person next to my semi private room was snoring. The third night I had to go to sleep to the sofa in the lounge room because of that. But 6 am someone already woke up to work from his PC. So not much sleep that nig...

My stay in the City of Panama was very good. Much of it because of Casa los Monstros. It's a very nice, clean and safe place. Stello and the hostel staff are very sweet. I highly recommend the stay.

Staff was nice and polite. There is a good atmosphere at the hostel and is quite easy to get to know other people. The kitchen is totally equipped and big. In overall an OKish place to stay for a couple of days. My main cons are: 1. NO cards accepted for payments...only cash 2. Cheap and old mattress....they are extremely soft and not comfortable at all .

Solid Hostel with everything that you need. I had a private room and that was affordable but also very tiny and not closed walls to the others so you could here everything. Its not that social so its a bit hard to meet people but it is in a great area

Great location. Has what little I need. Maybe add a pull-up bar, dip bar, exercise corner in the yard. Nothing costly. Just a place to stay loose. Otherwise, perfecto.

This place was OK. The facilities and location were fine, and it’s a good value for money. But the staff wasn’t very helpful; the check-in was challenging, including the lack of English speakers for foreigners, and the laundry service was bad. They didn’t do it all day and returned it damp close to midnight before we had to leave. I hope the staff can improve so the hostel itself can be better.
