Mahannop Hostel

Good location, close to major sites but not to busy area, lots of nice spots to eat close by. Very hard mattresses on the beds, but apart from that a nice stay.

Don't go. This is not a hostel, just an illegal side hustle behind an Amazon Café. You can't see it from the street and you can't pay by card, I think we shouldn't encourage shady businesses even if it does give you what it promises: a bed in a shared dorm with AC.

Atmosphere wasn't great and it's not social at all -- staff didn't offer me a key for my locker until I asked and seemed confused about the question. Sheets were very stained and the the rooms themselves were just sliding doors with no locks. They have cameras downstairs but it's connected to a cafe and you can just walk upstairs, so it felt a little strange. Bathroom was clean and had multiple stalls which is always a plus for me. Would stay again for the location/if you're just sleeping there.

Vi que no tenia tan buenas reseñas pero no sé porqué, mi estadía estuvo 10/10, todo muy bien! Tuvimos que cambiar la fecha y me respondieron rápido y sin problemas. La ubicación es perfecta, muy céntrico y con todo a la mano. El aire acondicionado funcionaba bien y el primer piso tenía una linda cafetería abierta 24hrs donde puedes trabajar, comer o lo que te apetezca. Si vuelvo a Bangkok, me quedaría acá de nuevo

My experience was so-so. I liked the receptionist who helped me in the morning; I want to commend him. The Wi-Fi signal wasn't good in my room, and the power outlet on my bed didn't work. If you need to work online, be prepared because there's no infrastructure, and the cafeteria downstairs is always extremely noisy. The good thing is the location; that deserves a 10/10.

We were the only people there:/ and the beds are hard as rock. You dont get a let so you can’t love the doors but a fine Place if you need some quiet:)

Very nice Staff!! Sadly, we had to cancel spontaneously and booked the room via Hostelworld without refund but we still could talk to the Staff and get the Money Back. The woman on the Counter was extremely nice and helpful even though we couldn't speak any Thai she also tried to organize us an Uber! Thank you very much for that!! The bathroom was very big and clean, the room was also totally okay (even though we didn't stay more than a few hours) with Air conditioning and Lockers!

Horrible… Je ne recommande pas du tout, auberge vraiment douteuse, du désordre partout , une hygiène très limite certains jours et le lit est tellement dur. On en s’y sent pas bien tout…

Arrived. It's inside a 24/7 weird dirty coffee shop. Rude staff. Wouldn't recommend. Basic bed in a room. No-one else seemed to be staying. Another empty room next to me. No security. No key. Anyone can walk in. Secure locker in room at least.

perfect location - near enough to the public transport lines but also the big temples and tourist attractions. We basically walked everywhere! Toilets and dorms were clean - good value for money. Nice cafe underneath for breakfast/ smoothies or to sit and play cards :)

Great a/c. Clean. Front desk guy could have been more attentive and helpful.

Hat alles was man braucht. Für den Preis ist es zum übernachten gut aber nicht um Leute kennenzulernen oder mehr zeit dort zu verbringen. Die Lage ist allerdings sehr gut!

The door won't close all the way and they're making noise all night at the coffee shop

Good stay for 1-2 nights. I was put in the bigger dorm even though I paid extra for the small one. I don't think they paid too much attention to who is in what room.

First you can’t pay by card and it was not written one the website. The materas was as hard as the floor. We had cockroach on our bedroom. The door of our bedroom was closed but we still had a space of 1 or 2 centimeters. So it’s not fully closed It was smelling strongly humidity, the towels just never dried from a shower to the next shower. The bathroom were okay even if there were a lot of ants. And probably not their fault but we heard people throw up every day.

Nice hostel

The bed comfort is not that good I think Japanese style or something but it is budget hostel. I stayed at private room.
