Warm and welcoming place and the people who host. Nestled away from the noise. You meet interesting people, can practice slow living, get to hike around in nature. Do your thing. Or better just move here for a workation.

I had a great time at Orchards House. The hostel itself is quaint, with the staff here being a highlight of my stay. An indoor common area would make this place perfect.

Great value and friendly staff. Very comfy bed and blanket, slept well. Good food and nice peaceful location. We visited at the end of winter and there wasn’t anywhere warm to hang out which made it slightly uncomfortable at times. But not a problem really.

+ I liked the friendly, openminded, very serviceminded and helpfull staff. Komal, the manager, is making every effort to make everybody feel welcome and “at home”, and are even bringing travellers together. The food and the surrondings is astonishing! We should have stayed 4 days, we stayed 7…

- Liked everything!

+ Couldn’t fault this place - a perfect location and perfect team. Property manager (Komal) made us feel so welcome and catered to every need. She welcomed us to their Holi celebrations and was always up for a social game in the evening! Food was great, toiletries were always made available and can’t fault the rooms or the gorgeous view. Would definitely return.

- Can’t fault the location but be sure to message the team if you have an issue finding once you get dropped off!

My stay at Orchids was fantastic. From the moment I arrived, the hosts, Komal and Pranav, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Special mention to Komal for organising events like board games and movie nights to make sure everyone was enjoying their stay. The hostel has a perfectly relaxed vibe—exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend Orchids to anyone traveling solo or with friends!

+ The location is too comfortable, and the vibe is too peaceful. I came for 2 nights, and ended up staying for almost a week. Pranav is a very nice host and always only a call away. Ideal for staycation/workations. Would definitely come back here!

+ Great stay! Clean rooms, peaceful surroundings, and super friendly staff. The walk up from Old Manali is a bit steep, but totally worth it once you reach the property. Would definitely stay again!

- The only thing to keep in mind is that the way up from Old Manali is a bit of a climb, especially with luggage. But once you reach the property, it’s totally worth it for the calm and views you get.
