Perfect stay at midgard ! I even came back for a second night during my trip. Many thanks to all the staff for their kindness and help planning my travel !

We had an amazing stay at Midgard base camp in the beginning of January! The staff was really nice as well as the other people staying here ! we were lucky enough to see northern light from the hottub on the rooftop which was one of the highlights of our trip :) Hopefully we'll be back one day

Sitio genial, el sitio es fantástico, muchas cosas por hacer, por ver, por disfrutar... El desayuno super rico, las camas muy cómodas y bastantes baños/duchas. Ha sido una experiencia de 10, muchas gracias a todos :)

Loved, loved, loved this hostel. Funky atmosphere and adventurous traveller heaven. Great staff and set up to make like Easter for travellers. Gina was so helpful. Loved the happy hour. Would highly recommend for travelers wanting to meet like minded people and have some comfort.

War schön zum Entspannen

It’s difficult to fault this hostel at all - it’s so obviously been designed by someone who stays in hostels - which is great. Every little detail makes your stay so much more comfortable - beds have space at the bottom for your belongings, bunk beds are sturdy and don’t squeak throughout the night, they have good charging points and curtains. The bathroom and shower facilities are excellent, not to mention the cherry on the top - the hot tub and sauna, on the rooftop. I love my stay here...

Fantastic hostel! Staff were so friendly and helpful. The outdoor spa and sauna was amazing. Great rooms, comfortable beds with curtains. Good conditions, clean, good size showers. Would love to come back!

This place was amazing !!! The beds were nice and had more than enough storage, the curtain on my bed made me feel like I was in my own space. The atmosphere of the whole place is awesome. The staff greet you as family and the restaurant is 10/10. I'm vegan and have allergies and they were able to accommodate me easily. Will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Amazing hostel! Can’t fault anything. The staff, the room, the facilities were all good. We saw the northern lights from the hot tub on the roof and they have a drying cupboard for your swimwear so you don’t have to pack wet clothes!

Amazing hostel! Staff were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating! During dinner on our first night, the staff told us the northern lights were outside and where best to view them, and waited patiently for us to come back downstairs from the terrace to finish settling up. Staff also saved the day with a jumper pack when we left our car headlights on overnight and were super relaxed when we came back from a long day exploring with pizzas for the guest kitchen! Brilliant location, great amenities!

Great place, clean and cool amenities

WOW! Amazing place! No effort is spared to feel like home. Staff and amenities are great. Cheaper than others and much, much, much better. Rooms, toilets clean. Family friendly. Nice location, 12 minutes ride from the 2 waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Gljufrabui. Skogafoss is not far too. Thanks to the strategic location, you can get to these waterfalls before the crowds. Sauna and bath on the rooftop with views on horses and volcano Eyjafjallajökull are priceless. And with auroras if lucky.

A really cool place! Good location if you're planning on heading to the waterfalls or on a golden circle/ring road trip! There's a restaurant on site and breakfast is available too. Felt super safe and there was a really good, chill vibe!
