+ The staff were so kind, the bed was incredibly comfortable with such clean nice sheets, and a thick comforter so we were warm even in the winter. Hot showers. A gym downstairs with a bar bell. The restaurant was so good we ended up just eating almost every meal there. It’s outside the chaos of mall road, but close enough that you could easily walk there to shop and get dinner. It was also very quiet at night time.

+ I recently stayed at Hill River Resort by Best Western Manali in their deluxe room, and it was an excellent budget-friendly choice without compromising on comfort. The deluxe room was simple yet well-maintained, with all the essential amenities—comfortable bed, clean bathroom with toiletries, and good Wi-Fi. Even though the deluxe rooms don’t have a balcony, the large windows still allowed plenty of natural light and fresh mountain air. The location is perfect: just a short walk to Mall Road, so it’s easy to explore shops and try local food, but far enough to avoid the noise and rush. For quick trips, autos are also easily available from Mall Road to hotel. The hotel staff were polite and efficient, making check-in and check-out smooth and quick. The in-house restaurant offers tasty food at reasonable prices, and the service was very good. For travelers looking for a clean, comfortable, and budget-friendly option in Manali with a prime location, the deluxe room at Hill River Resort is a great pick. I’ll happily return here on my next visit.
