Hotel Pandim

Absolutely perfect stay. We stayed here mid-April 2026. Our caretaker is genuinely a very nice guy. He took care of our city bookings, food and requests we had. I can’t recommend this place enough. Moreover, it’s located super well, right by MG marg.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the hotel. The host were great. Clean and spacious room with a nice view of the mountains.

Amazing value and the host and his family are so nice. The view from the rooftop is amazing!! This is THE place to stay in town.

Pandim completely deserves a ten out of ten.

The Place is really good and surrounding is peaceful, Especially the House owner Kesang is really Gentle and helpful and also helped me book a jeep. Moreover the Hotel has a Really Good view of whole city and the Mountains. Additionally they provide breakfast it is really good.

Staying here was one of the best experiences of my life. Splurge the extra $5 for a view from the higher floors because it is spectacular. The cheese and veg omelet was the best I've had in 200 travel days in India.

We had a wonderful stay at Pandim. Owner was very helpful and communicative, location has a beautiful view, area is quiet, rooms were comfortable, fair price, and it was a nice 10 min walk down to MG. We extended our stay multiple times and cannot recommend this place enough for future travelers!

THe hotel owner contacted us beforehand and asked when we would sign in, we were severely late and yet they let us in at 0200 hrs at night. The location itself is quite good with a spectacular view of snow capped mountains visible from both the room window as well as from the terrace. The food served was also tasty and worth the visit. All in all I recommend this place of stay given the location, friendliness of the staff as well as the price.

I am writing this review on my last night here and wished I could stay longer.Kesang and his family made me feel so at home with their impeccable service. Especially Kesang who is so down to earth and gave me so much help planning my trips. (Especially hard for foreigners here)Enjoyed playing with his son and dog everyday.Woke up to views of Kanchenjunga everyday.The rooms are so clean, beds so comfortable, strong WiFi and hot water with clean bathrooms.MG road is just a short walk.

I'd absolutely recommend staying at Hotel Pandim, the owner is a gentleman and very helpful, food is rather expensive but good and I'd recommend their rooms with a balcony

I booked the dorm rooms (both for male and female) hesitantly, but We had an absolutely amazing time at Hotel Pandim. View from the window is simply breathtaking. The host was very helpful, polite & humble. There is a cab owner who lives in the same building. We booked him for an entire day & he helped us at all times. Kursong and family were great in taking care of my needs. The room was basic but fine and with a great view. Convient to the main area but far enough to be away from the noise. Riksel, the precicious 4 year old son was a joy.

The hotel is family-run and beautifully hosted by Kesang. The location just below the monastery and palace at the very top of Gangtok is superb, and quiet. We sat on the roof garden and saw the Himalayan line-up every day, in perfect clarity. While the cook was away, Kesang provided delicious meals, and was hugely helpful in calling and arranging our future homestay bookings. I would suggest strolling around the monastery gardens at sunset, and I give the Pandin my highest recommendation.

Really nice hostel. Our room was clean and spacious and the shower was hot. The staff are all really friendly and happy to help. Staff can help you book transport too. The location of the hostel is ideal, really quick walk to MG Market and Gangtok sites. The home cooked food is delicious.

Beautiful guest house with amazing staff! Would love to come back here :)
