House of Nomad

A lovely hostel, Aurilia really gives it the personal touch and gave us the guided tour of the city! We also had a really fun BBQ which is hosted every Sunday - I'd stay at House of Nomad again and would love to come back to Gangtok! P.S. Look at the getting the helicopter from Siliguri there/back - it was ₹3500 and a really cool experience, just turn up and ask for a ticket. the heliport is 15 minutes walk from the hostel.

Super good hostel, very clean, hot water, good location right near the taxi stand and a scooter rental, the manager is very helpful and friendly, new lots of good places to visit 10/10 hostel, definitely should stay if you are visiting gangtok

Super clean with a great vibe. The owner was very helpful, caring and had great suggestions for day activities, with much knowledge on local history. The common area was a wonderful spot to socialise and had a good book collection. The rooms were very comfortable if you wanted time to wind down.

It is just the perfect Hostel, there’s nothing I could wish different. It is a big clean one with modern bathroom, hot shower, warm blanket, shared kitchen, availability of drinking water, perfect Wi-Fi (important for digital nomads) coworking space, amazing vibe and a lot more. Aurilia herself was definitely the highlight of the place she’s not only the host but she’s like a friend who is truly interested in guests’ interests and tries her best that they have a good time. 100% recommen...

Such a vibe! Rooms and bathrooms are clean and beds are very comfy. The host (Aurelia) was extremely welcoming and made us feel like home. I would recommend this place to both solo travellers and small group of friends looking for a value proposition without compromising on anything.

Great Property - Infrastructure is top notch. Rooms and dormitories were well kept. Host is very knowledgeable and cooperative. (Aurilia) All queries were heard and responded to. Common areas like cafeteria, sitting area, work stations are cozy and give a great staycation vibe. Property is well connected to the main market via sharing cabs. All in all, 10/10. Would definitely stay again when back in Gangtok. Highly recommend!

My friend and I had a great time at House of Nomad ! Everything was perfect, clean and comfy room, all equipments available, even a kitchen so we could cook our own breakfast. Last but not least, the host, Aurilia, was very kind and helpful ! I really recommend this place :)

The place was a gem, I loved staying here and having conversations with the helpful and sweet host, rooms are very clean and feel luxurious, for a more than fair price. With a gym and dominos nearby, it was the perfect place for a few days

A nice place to stay for travellers.

Fantastic hostel! The host Aurelia was amazing and so helpful. I had an issue with my documents for Sikkim and she called all the right people to help me get it sorted! There was a really nice lounge area with games, books, and a kitchen. The rooms were clean and laundry services available. I would highly recommend!!

This hostel is absolutely superb, the host Aurilia is the sweetest. She is caring, helpful, full of local knowledge and go the extra mile. Love the interior works, the paintings on the wall and how the hostel is filled with plants. The facilities are cleaned daily, rooms are spacious, large lockers for the bigger backpacks, free wireless internet in the lounge. As a solo traveller this is probably one of the best places to stay in Gangtok, you may get to meet so many people who can show you am...
