Guesthouse Maya

maya is a womderful lady that laughs all of the time and her and her family are very helpful and kind

Maya is a very friendly, helpful and accomodating host. She treated all her guests like her own family. She’s not around all the time, but tends to come every night to entertain and socialize with the guests at the kitchen. The guesthouse has a balcony with a very nice view. The only minor drawback is that there’s only 1 bathroom/shower.

The room was moldy and the bathroom was dirty. No toilet paper. The owner even knocked late at night after 10pm to collect money – very rude. Windows can’t be left open because people look inside, and right outside live two men smoking and snoring loudly. The address given is wrong, the location is different – very misleading. One of my worst hostel nights ever.

The property is decent and is about a 5-10 minute walk from the Centre. I had a lucky encounter with her husband at the bus station and he was kind enough to drop us to the guesthouse as a courtesy for booking in their accommodation, which kinda felt good with not knowing much about the town at the start.. definitely would recommend to stay at Maya’s Guesthouse. ✌️

We had such a great stay at the guesthouse. We recommend you to ask for the breakfast that was really good and homemade.
