Perfect for a night to arrive. Very close to airport, friendly staff, very quiet and clean rooms, good breakfast. Can recommend!
Good to sleep close to the airport. Offer home made cooked breakfast and they lock the front fences all the time so in that way is secure.
They allow kids so it can get very loud with the walls being so thin
Location is unbeatable for the airport. Common area is okay. My dorm was absolutely disgusting though and smelled almost unbearable, and I’m very lax about these things.
Très bien pour une nuit avant un avion Navette gratuite à partir de 4h du mat +++
Close convenient option to airport for a night's stay if late flight, before moving onto Antigua. Staff was nice, although reception when I checked in at night did not really speak English, but Google Translate was sufficient to understand each other.
I stayed in Lago Izabel mixed dorm room, and there was mold in the upper corner of the room right where I slept. I only noticed it in the morning with daylight. It was also extremely hot with no ventilation. The best part is, I may have bed bugs from this hostel. I woke up with clusters of small red bumps on my back and a few on my leg….im SHOCKED they have a 9 rating
Staying in guate friends was the right choice. I chose this one as I arrived late on the airport and wanted to go to Antigua. The receptionist (Mayra?) was super helpful, got me in touch with a local taxi and sent me to the local bus stop. I had an amazing experience in the hostel itself, the breakfast was also good, but the receptionist was clearly the best. She was so nice!
This hostel is a perfect place to crash if you have an early or late flight! I was only there for a few hours, but the staff was very pleasant and having breakfast included was an unexpected perk. It is cozy; no partygoers. You need staff to let you in and out of the hostel, which provided a good about of peace-of-mind a safety wise. I plan to stay here again when I depart.
Perfect place to stay the night before a flight. Quiet. Prompt shuttle service to the airport

Staff was the by far the least ‘friend’ly in 10+ hostels in Guatemala. We even felt unwelcome. Also, they wanted to charge 120Q for a 50 minutes earlier check in while the room was already clean. In all other hostels you can just go in when it’s clean. Unfriendly policy to make extra money on clients that are tired from traveling.
The hostel was close to thr airport and it was wonderful they offered free airport transfer. The food choices were limited with only 2 restaurants in walking distance, one of which was closed but uber eats delivered which worked well. The biggest negative was the windows on the doors. people were turning on the hallway light at night to walk to thr bathroom which affected our sleep. During the morning they were doing construction which was also loud and bothersome
Super close to the hotel, not very social but great for an overnight layover
Friendly lady at the reception. Simple but nice breakfast (scrambled egg with nice bread and some spreads). Had walked from the airport in 8 minutes, felt safe. Comfortable bunkbed but bit noisy climbing up. Would come again.
at night the area seemed a little scary. The place was clean and the staff was nice. They provided a ride to the airport in the am which was great!
I just stayed one night after arriving in the city. I took an Uber from the airport which was only a 3 minute drive. The staff was very nice and I slept in a very clean room. The breakfast was also great. The only issue was, that you could not lock the door from the outside, only from inside. Overall I felt very safe and welcome!
A great place to stay if you're about to take a flight from Guatemala city airport, which is just a few blocks away. Good breakfast, comfortable room and a nice little library to leave anything you've finished reading and/or pick up something new to read.
