I feel sad to write a complaint as this is where I spent my birthday but we had a terrible nights sleep here. There is celebrations at go all through the night, I did not sleep until 4am. I asked more than once how long the music will go on for outside and he did not tell me, that is because the music did not stop all night. II got to sleep at 4am and was woken up again at 5am again. I requested the coffee shop under our room turned the music down, they did but the whole area had a lot of...
The hostel has a wrong address, but can only be found by googling the name. Since there is currently no gps in Aqaba this was a big inconvenience to find it. The staff has very limited English. The hostel has no community room to connect with others. I was in a private room. The bath had it's own boiler and hence warm water with a good pressure. I had shower gel and shampoo, but no towel. When checking out the owner called me, but referred with the wrong name. All in all an ok place to sleep.
Abdullah is a great host. Good food. Good beds! All in all great stay
地點非常好,人員也都非常親切,有問題都會幫忙解答!老闆有自己的wadi rum營地,如果有需要前往的遊客,可以直接詢問老闆安排起喔!也能協助安排亞喀巴的潛水活動👍🏻👍🏻
hi thé Price is expensive, not value for money. but personnel is cool. no access to kitchen and a small bathroom and WC at sale Time.
Its not like other Hostels but as a budget traveler we can adjust for a night stay.
Abdallah is the cooles host ever! He brought a falafel for me when I needed to study ❤️
One of the best places if stayed in Jordan! Amer, the owner, was super nice and took us to lunch with the Aqaba regional dish! The hostel is right by the waterfront and extremely well located for everything! He also helped organise a cheaper dive and a bus back to Amman after my stay, would definitely recommend!
Amer isa great guy, we had a backroom and he changed it to one with a really amazing view. The breakfast is really nice. The location is just great.
Amazing family run hostel right by the beach. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Aqaba!
so great, all the staff was amazing (the black girl and the owner especially)
The dorm room was very clean. I slept very comfortably. Ac was working. The location is really good right on the beachfront next to cafés and close to restaurants. The owner really made it a nice stay even giving me a falafel sandwich in the morning for free.
The stay was incredible, good interactions with friendly and catering staff. A great connection to a local dive shop (Nemo). The location is likewise perfect. The hostel is a great place to relax with some drinks and fellow travelers with a stellar view of the gulf of Aqaba.
The owner went over and beyond for me! I would give this place an extra star. I paid for a dorm room and when I went to lay down, it was all men and 2 of them were coughing hacking. I couldn’t handle it so I went downstairs to see if there was another dorm room available and to my surprise I got a free upgrade to my own room with an ocean view. Feeling so blessed. Lastly he picked me up with my heavy bags and took me to the bus station! Super nice man. Great for the price!
You get what you pay for! Bookings were obviously muddled so we got a “free upgrade” to an ocean room view which came with pumping music on the beach late into the night, and starting early in the morning. In saying that we popped out headphones in and we’re fine. Efforts have def been made with the cleanliness, rest room was good.
Perhaps MGMT should take better care of the safety of the female guests. Absolute trash.
DO NOT STAY HERE! As an easy going 28yr old solo male traveller, even this was pushing it. Didn’t get the room I booked, when I asked I was told no rooms have an ensuite. And the host argued with me about moving hostels. MUSIC blaring full volume until 4am, then starting again at 7am. Windows don’t close properly, have no seals. Air conditioning spitting greasy fluff balls all over me all night. Showers filthy and put together as an after thought for men. Do yourself a favour, don’t boo...
We spend our first night in Jordan in Alamar Hostel 2. We had already made plans for the next days but the Hostel manager convinced us to change plans which was the best that could have happen to us! He was very kind and patient and organised diving and Wadi Rum for us which was one of the best experiences of our lifes so far. Therefore we decided that we will stay the last night of our Jordan trip at the Alamar Hostel 2 as well.
Other travellers made this hostel a good experience. Staff were terrible. I paid 3JOD for laundry service, and had to practically harass them to get my laundry back, to get missing items back, and still did not get back my 25JOD equivalent pair of sweat pants. And owner/staff will lie to you about your plans in order to convince you to join their own experiences instead. For an extra price. Can’t trust anything they say. Disgusting practice, horrible hospitality.
The room was very (very) loud, it is on the seafront where music is played all night long. Moreover, there's no locker to the room and the shower is rusty. It is not located in a good area of Aqaba, and the restaurants on the seafront are expensive for a low quality food. Overall I would not recommend this place
