Bedouin Garden Village, Hotel Dive

Wouldn't recommend BGV for a stay. Staff were friendly, but the whole hotel is quite shabby and rundown. The room was a bit grubby, and I'm not precious but this would bother some people, especially for the price. Main problem is that there is really not very much around the area. No restaurants, the food on offer at hotel is limited. Would recommend staying in Aqaba itself and coming to South Beach via taxi for the day.

I can’t recommend this place enough. The owner was so helpful and from the start made us feel welcome and assisted us with the planning the rest of our trip including recommendations and help with transport. The snorkelling recommendations were great and the hotel is right on the beach so what more could you want.

I cannot recommend this place, especially to solo female travelers. The owner Musa was extremely inappropriate, ignoring boundaries and making me feel uncomfortable. When I mentioned having a partner after realizing he'd clearly got the wrong idea, he barged into my room, sat on my bed smoking, interrogated me, accused me of lying after checking all my social medias and "not seeing photos of a partner" and initiated that I 'lead him on'. He’s 3 times my age. I left after 1 night for my safety.

We stayed for one night here. The reception was so nice as we arrived a little late he manage to accommodate us. The location is like 5 minutes away from the beach. The room he gave us is massive for 2 persons and we are happy about it, Cleanliness over all is 8/10 including the pool. Breakfast inclusive is Arabic and we are satisfied with the serving and the coffee too. Big thanks to the guy who prepared us the breakfast. If you are on a budget this place is perfect for you.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good facilities and easy access to south beach. Nice views at sunset and cracking pool. Breakfast was tasty.

We only stayed for one night but the hotel had everything we needed. We hired some snorkels for a very good price. Breakfast was a good price and staff were friendly. Room was basic but we didn’t need it for anything other than sleeping.

Rude staff, miscommunications about money and dirty rooms. The location was okay as well as the pool.

delpidated, not very clean, bad quality of dishes, extremely unmotivated service, didn't feel anyone liked his job. Very bad breakfast.. Hummus is from package, the dive club at the hostel is very stupid und tricky, the snorkelling stuff was old and bad. Use 10-20 more JD and stay in Aqaba or a Hotel, it will be worth

Everything was absolutely great until it was time to sleep - and am still suffering the consequences one week on with a chest and head infection. The room was so hot after only a 23° day that the overhead ceiling fan had to be left on all night as the air conditioning only blew out room temperature air.

Loved our stay here! As advertised and pictured. So awesome to walk 3 minutes, jump in the ocean and see so much marine life! The owner is great and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Nice rooftop!

Not very close to Aqaba but right on the beach! We checked in pretty late around 5 and were still able to go snorkeling. The experience was magical, snorkeling during sunset, and only for 5 JOD each. The staff was also super friendly. They arranged taxis for us to get dinner in Aqaba and to take us to our early morning bus. Great location right by the beach. Beach only had men on swimming (and a couple of families) and there were some that were making us feel quite uncomfortable so appreciated the hostel pool. Short taxi ride into Aqaba. Only complaint was it was bathroom was a bit grubby.

Jamal, the owner, Oriana and all the staff are very nice people looking after the customers. The location is great, quiet, rooms and beds are very confortable, the atmosphere so specific and nice. We already miss all this frame. I will come back. Thanks a lot

This resort is so cute! All the rooms look like little cottages. There are many fun spaces to sit and chat. It’s walking distance to the beach and the area is much calmer than the beaches in the city. It’s an especially great location for diving. For sure, it is not high luxury or immaculately clean, but it is cozy and decently clean in the most important bits. And it has a really fun sort of chill beach bum atmosphere. Had a great time talking to the guy who makes the drinks!

The Bedouin Garden Village has a charming laid back atmosphere. It could not be better situated for snorkelling. We really enjoyed our stay there.
