The Hideout Hostel

We travelled for a quick weekend and absolutely loved the place! Such a great value for money and really amazing location.

We had a great time here as a base for hiking and exploring around Dingle!

The hostel was perfect near the water front and the main street. I was able to walk easily everything I ed to do.

First time staying at a Hostel, was a little apprehensive but was pleasantly surprised. Room was small with the basics, the place was clean and Michael the owner was very cordial. Common areas were nice and also clean. I expected more noise from people.coming and going, but was surprisingly quiet. Location is perfect, center of all the happenings. Would stay again. Mike

Quite spacious. Great location

Great location. Great price and amenities. I appreciated the frig and kitchen, the open and reading areas. 5 stars primarily due to hospitality and support especially when we’d an accident. Michael was ever polite and helpful!

Perfect place to stay!!!

I would highly recommend staying at The Hideout, the location is fantastic, as it’s right in the centre of everything. Dingle and its surrounding villages are absolutely beautiful. The owner Mícheál is very friendly and helpful, he is never too far away if you need assistance.

Rooms are spacious and have a great ensuite, we didn't use the communal kitchen/living space but it looked good.

Mickael, le gérant est très gentil. Le logement est bien placé, avec un stationnement facile. On a pu disposer de la cuisine pour se faire à manger. N'hésitez pas à passer plusieurs jours à Dingle, car s'il fait beau, vous pouvez faire de très belles randos, il y a des paysages fabuleux.

Very nice place, both homely and hotel like. Great location I felt like it was in the center of everything and close by everywhere I wanted to get to.

Michael the host is a very kind and hospitable guy with deep knowledge of the town and community. I’ve been traveling for an entire year and this was the perfect space to relax and recharge the batteries for awhile. I loved the common area which had a vinyl player with lots of cool records and a fireplace. You can make yourself a nice pot of tea and kick back and enjoy a nice slow day in Ireland. Thank you so much Micheal for being a genuinely kind person and I will definitely be back.

Firstly, Michael was wonderful host. Great local information. Hostel is a fantastic location.

Awesome place, I stopped over for a night and Michael was super helpful and very prompt over email with any questions leading up to my stay. Room was clean and location was right in the middle of the town. Would absolutely stay again.
