cozy place but cold
Lugar de mágicos encuentros, gran atención, cuidado y libertad. Baños y habitaciones amplias y limpias. Edificio con múltiples ambientes y salas. Cocina genial. Se echó de menos algo más de control aparte del código de la puerta y los lockers, si bien no hay nada de que preocuparse porque el resto de clientes son buena gente.

I only stayed for one night but I would have stayed a lot longer if I wouldn’t have had different plans. The hostel has a great atmosphere and it is super easy to get in touch with the other guests and the staff. I especially enjoyed the trivia night and the yoga session in the morning. Thanks again for the lovely stay!
Great experience, a very social hostel with events mid to late week even better if you stay there for multiple nights as you have more time to know some of the lovely staff. Reasonably priced as of this post. Gear rentals were 15€/4hrs for a board and wetsuit wich at the time was better than most of the local shops.
Most excellent. Extremely clean and well organized. Bathrooms had enough room and shelves/hooks. Rooms had a chair for 2nd bunkers.
The staff and atmosphere were unmatched and I felt fully welcomed into the community. It was so easy to make friends and memories through all the activities the hostel offered. Highly, highly recommend!
Uno de los mejores hostels en los que he estado. Me encantó el ambiente y la amabilidad de todas las personas. La ubicación es ideal: muy cerca de la playa y de un parque precioso. Además, el hostel organiza actividades casi todos los días, lo que da muchísimas oportunidades para conocer a otros viajeros y compartir con los voluntarios que trabajan allí 😊
El equipo de voluntarios es increíble. Muy buen hostel, muy limpio y seguro.

Ich war 5 Tage in diesem Hostel und hatte eine tolle Zeit, die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett, das Hostel ist sauber und alles wirkt sehr familiär. Ich würde immer wieder kommen.

Hostal muy bien ubicado, pero la atención del personal deja mucho que desear, estuve esperando como una hora para que alguien venga a atenderme. Pocos agraciados la verdad. La habitación compartida era amplia, pero sin ventilación, que para estás temporadas era imposible dormir del calor.
Una gente encantadora, buen ambiente, limpio. Le convendrisustituir en los baños la bañera por un par de platos de ducha
I stayed in the private room at North Surf House in Gijón and found the facilities to be exceptionally clean and well taken care of. The private room is very spacious with a large bathroom. It seems like staff was always present and cleaning. I was not as social however they had many events and the overall vibe of the house was friendly.
A bit of noise during the night also from the surroundings. Hears plug made the difference 😉
Really loved my stay here, good location, people and staff were really nice and the kitchen, garden and pingpong table were a nice touch. Only downside was when I left a plate of my dinner on my shelf for later that night only to find out that somebody else ate it. Hope this doesnt occur more often haha. Would still recommend this place!
