Really great place to stay. The rooms are comfortable with AC and there are a lot of hammocks, tables etc to chill at. They gave a lot of helpful information for Díli and all of Timor-Leste. Everyone is really cool and there are animals as well.

Absolutely amazing!! Had a great stay here. Location and food are great!! Fitri and Fernando made my stay here so fun!! 10/10 would defs recommend to anyone!!! Very good atmosphere and the staff gave good recommendations in stuff and places to see in the area!! Thanks for a great week here!! ❤️❤️

Was looking forward to a relaxing stay, unfortunately a guy, who I later found out was the owner, was quite inconsiderate and rude. We were sitting in the common area relaxing while he was playing loud sounds from his phone, totally ruining the otherwise calm area. Asked him to turn it off or use a headset which he refused to do. Will do another hostel next time.

Very good place to stay - Little bit off the track but I didn't have any problem walking anywhere in Dili from here. Lovely room and great staff.

Die Unterkunft ist klein und das Personal unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück und Abendessen sind vorzüglich und aus eigenem Anbau. Sollte ich mal wieder nach Osttimor kommen dann jedenfalls wieder hierher.

This is our forth visit. The location is perfect for our needs. We get around the city easily by using the 25cent mikrolets or walking if not too far or too hot. The air conditioning is important and little things like the refillable chilled bottles of water in the communal fridge shows thought about how to be responsible environmentally. The ants on the outside bathroom can be a problem.

Really great place. Relaxing vibes, lots of spaces to hang in the garden, the staff are lovely and accommodating. Definitely worth trying a meal here too as the food is delicious as is the Kombucha. Walking distance to a supermarket, food and coffee

Perfect. The staff were really good and informative, especially Tasha she was a human encyclopaedia for all things Timor-Leste. Facilities were great, the beds in the dorm were very comfortable and the air-con was consistent. Would definitely stay here again.

The DaTerra VilaVerde Hostel is a beautiful green oasis right in the center of Dili. They have a big and beautiful garden with an open two-storey building to hang out in hammocks, a main building with private rooms, kitchen etc. and an airconditioned bungalow dormitory plus outdoor roofed bathroom. I stayed in the dorm which was perfect because far from other guest rooms and I was alone half time. All well maintained, staff super nice. And it's 100x more beautiful than the other location!

Never book that Hostel directly at the owner!!!!You will end up in trouble!!!!I was booking that hostel via Hostelworld and once i arrived they told me that there isnt any bed available and i had to leave. I just came from the airport with my whole baggage. Would you like to have such an experience?At the end i had to beg for the room i paid at Hostelworld. What was the problem?The stuff at Villa Verde didnt knew about my booking because the have no availability to the electronic book

One of the best hostels we've ever stayed in. A lovely, cosy, clean, and friendly place that has everything you need. The room had air conditioning and a wardrobe; a shared fridge was available. There’s a laundry service, excellent breakfasts, and the option to buy a delicious dinner, drinks, and other local products. Best hostel in Timor-Leste, high international standard!Very nice and helpful staff. Fernando will answer your emails quickly, helps you organize excursions in Dili and to other places. Lovely stylish garden with different terraces, many plants, hammocks, illumination in the night. Spacious 4-bed dorm with good mattresses. Big bathroom - I showered under full moon. New rental bikes and motor bikes. Delicious breakfast with fresh fruits and dinner menu.Relaxed atmosphere and very good vibe!

Most definitely the best stay I had during my stint in Timor-Leste. It's clean, in a central location, the staff are so so lovely and the owner Fernando is one hell of a guy. Always willing to help and definitely a great place to start as you try and navigate Timor Leste. The Daterra in Baucau is just as good!

great hostel. the staff sitting there is super nice and helpful. location is lovely - right in the city center. they had a lovely private party one evening where they were kind enough to invite me. had a good time!
