Ein sehr gemütliches Hostel mit Meeresblick und nahe gelegenem Strand. Das Hostel war sehr sauber und die Küche gut ausgestattet. Das Zimmer war etwas dunkel, da hält man sich dann eben nicht so lange auf. Besonders schön ist der Gemeinschaftsraum mit Meeresblick. Etwas schade war, dass wir draußen recht kühl mit dem Hinweis empfangen wurden, dass der Check-In erst in einer Stunde ist. Das war für uns kein Problem, allerdings hat man uns dann nicht ins Hostel reingelassen bei 10 Grad.

I was very happy with all the facilities. However l arrived at 13.00 hrs, this was my mistake for not looking at booking in times. What l was dissatisfied with is that the staff watched me arrive and ignored my knocking at the door. I don't think you can justify ignoring customers. Even if it was just to explain the situation. Again it was my fault for not checking web site, but again ignoring people is a very bad thing in my book.

Great hostel across from Loch Gairloch.

This must be the best located hostel in Scotland! We stayed for 2 nights, each of us in separate dorms. We booked very last minute. I love the location, literally a skip and a hip from the beach. The lounge looks out onto the sea. It's so tranquil. The furniture is very tasteful for a hostel. Loved it! The dorm rooms were comfortable and clean. The bathroom facilities were clean and adequate. Kitchen facilities also great. Great selection of drinks at reception. Staff friendly ...

Großartige Lage in einem gemütlichen und sauberen Hostel. Fantastischer Blick über die Bucht!

I recently stayed at this hostel and was thoroughly impressed by the impeccable facilities. The fully equipped kitchen was a standout feature, allowing for convenient meal preparation. The lounge had a fantastic ambiance, creating a welcoming and sociable atmosphere. The cleanliness and tidiness of the hostel were exceptional, making for a comfortable stay. The beds were cozy and provided a good night's sleep. Overall, I highly recommend this hostel!

Very helpful considerate staff assisted with my mobility... beautiful old wood lounge interior overlooking wild seas... stunning views. Well equipped kitchen spotless throughput, comfy and warm rooms. Loved it.

Sehr schönes Hostel, sehr nette Umgebung und äußerst nettes Personal. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Bon accueil. Établissement à la sortie de Gairloch. Parking. Chambre et sanitaires propres. Cuisine bien équipée. Salon louange avec vue sur le loch. Très agréable surtout par beau temps. Ambiance familiale.

Quelle vue ! La meilleure auberge de jeunesse dans laquelle nous avons séjourné durant ces 2 semaines en Ecosse. Le personnel est aimable et serviable, la cuisine est bien équipée. La salle commune dispose de bow windows avec une vue à couper le souffle sur la baie et les montagnes. Nous avions une chambre pour 4 (2 adultes et 2 enfants) au dernier étage.

Ideal for two motor cyclists. Nice walk to the campsite for food. Poor weather or would have gone into gairlock

Mon auberge préférée en Ecosse ! Super propre, les chambres sont top, l'accueil sympathique. C'était calme, avec vue sur la mer, possibilité de rajouter le petit déjeuner et d'acheter des bières sur place pour profiter de la soirée. La cuisine est grande et super bien équipée. Bref, rien à dire.
