Surfers Retreat

Perfect hostel for solo travelers! It really felt like home! The volunteers, Meli and Sara, are the best, very friendly and welcoming, and kept the hostel sparkling clean! Wish I could stay longer!

Lovely villa style hostel in 3-floors at very good location. Yard with swimming pool and sun terrace at top floor. Very clean. Loveliest staff creating homely atmosphere ❤️

Great for solo travellers!

Facilities were pretty good but not so good for the money. I was very surprised they make you pay extra for a locker. This wasn't a problem for me as I had a car however I feel this is generally a given at hostels to provide a locker.

Die Atmosphäre im Hostel ist super. Die Voluntiere sind super lieb und hilfsbereit. Sie schauen auch danach, dass es sauber ist. Ich finde leider den Service der Agentur etwas unflexibel. Der Check in kann nur sehr spät stattfinden. Ich habe das Stockbett ohne Privatsphäre zugewiesen bekommen. Als ich auf zwei leere Betten an der Wand zeigte und fragte ob ich eins von denen haben kann, wurde nur gesagt die sind schon besetzt. Eines der Betten war 5 Tage frei.

I had the best week! Maya did an amazing job, and I felt really comfortable from the very first minute.

Super ambiance ! Je recommande, surtout pour des solo travellers. Maja et Roberto m’ont très bien accueillie et font en sorte que tout le monde se sente bien. Auberge un peu en dehors de la ville mais tout reste accessible à pieds, très propre et avec tout le nécessaire. Il faudrait juste ajouter des tables de nuit et des rideaux pour le confort dans le dortoir qui est un peu rudimentaire.

definitely one of the cleanest hostels i’ve ever been to. would definitely return for a stay. also Aree, the volunteer who works there was super nice and soo friendly! just a cool, funny and warm soul to be around. almost felt like home :)

It was a great experience for my first solo trip. The volunteers Angelina and Emily are great!

It was a beautiful hostel to to stay in. A lot of nice people. Vibe cool. Volunteers (Emily and Angelina) were very helpful and always friendly. Hostel was clean.

Great hostel, exactly what a hostel should be. Good atmosphere, good socialising, good location, staff were great, really enjoyed my stay. The 1 negative comment I would have is having to pay €10 for a locker. At a hostel, there is an expectation to provide a free locker.

Loved this hostel! Modern, clean, comfortable and super good atmosphere. The volunteers work hard to keep the place clean, and there wasn’t a single day in my stay that they didn’t clean the whole hostel. The beds are also comfy and the room and hostel is quite spacious. Definitely recommend!!

Ich hatte ein total schönen Aufenthalt und würde immer wieder kommen:) Auch als allein Reisende habe ich mich im Surfers Retreat sehr sicher gefühlt und die Volunteers waren alle sehr hilfsbereit und super nett. Das Hostel ist sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Had the best time!! Anna and Carlotta were so amazing, everywhere was always so clean and they went above and beyond to make sure that I enjoyed my stay, thank you guys 🐚🐬🌊🧚‍♀️

Good Hostel, very clean. There are real blankets in the beds, there’s plugs right by the bed and the kitchen is well equipped. It wasn’t the most social when I was there but the staff organized a taco night. The location is really good as well.
