Chill homestay, good price and lovely staff!

Best Price for budget travelers! The place is verychill and cozy. Very social but also quiet. Far from the main street so there's barely vehicle noise. Staff is very helpful in recommending places to go as well and they got some booze to offer. Will definitely come back when I visit Jogja again!

More of a couple's hostel than a social hostel. Didn't feel welcome as a solo traveler. Surrounded by a bunch of old men who weren't interested in socializing, and the couple running the hostel monopolized the common area while they watched series.

Nice chill hostel, only a small hostel and was quite empty so hard to meet other solo travellers, as people staying were long term Good facilities, including a full well equipped kitchen Beds were comfy and clean But kitchen, social areas and bathroom were a bit dirty, and quite cluttered I think if they did a bit of renovating to the outside areas they could really make this place special Great location, a bit hard to find in the alley ways but just around the corner from an amazing night mark...

Had a great time in Indonesia. Woodstone was a terrific place to land. Super helpful staff that provided recommendations on what to see. Room was clean and found some cool restaurants nearby. In particular loved the Mediterranean Restaurant. It was within walking distance and offered a fantastic breakfast/brunch. Also live music nearby. Looking forward to going back to Indonesia soon.

What a nice hidden gem! The bed and the room was comfy, the staffs and the other guests were friendly, we had great conversations throughout my stay and I was given good recommendations to go nearby.. Will definitely come back here on my next Jogja Trip!

Thank you so much!!! We had an amazing stay and Irene was so sweet. She arranged so many things for us and showed us how to drive scooter. We got great recommendations on what to do in the surrounding area, that are not as touristy. It was like coming home every evening. Everything was clean, tidy and lots of space. In the kitchen we could make our own food and we could exchange books in the living room area. All in all amazing stay and highly recommend

First off-Super Clean! Which is always a big plus. Staff was really friendly, pointed me in the right direction for places to go and how to get there. Chill atmosphere-great place to base and restaurants, bars are within walkable distance. Would def stay here again.

The facilities and most of all the cleanliness were very disappointing for me. The staff was not very available. The atmosphere was also not great.. Didn’t have a good experience for me.

Thank you to everyone at Wood Stone for making my stay so enjoyable. The place was really well designed and clean and everything that we needed was there. It’s a great place to stay. I will definitely be back.

Cozy homestay with a great location! The staff were very kind and made my trip to Jogja so much fun. Clean, good value, and I will definitely be returning. : )

All in all we were rather disappointed by the hostel. The photos that initially made the hostel look really modern and tidy, did not match what we found. Even though the dorm was clean, the bathrooms and the kitchen looked abandoned and would have needed renovation or at least a proper cleaning. To add, no one in charge was around so that our questions remained unanswered. The dorm was the connection to other rooms, which was the reason why people walked through it all night long.
