Nice hostel in a good area

Staying in 4 person dorm for three nights, not a lot of room for 4 people and bags. Big lockers but in inconvenient locations to access easily. There was no lock on the door so anyone could come in at all times. The shared bathroom was always clean. The pool was small and very chlorinated but fine for a dip. The staff were very helpful telling us areas to go and suggesting restaurants.

Ik vond het geen sociaal hostel, maar de staff was echt super aardig. Niks was teveel en ze hielpen met alles. Vooral Saturday erg bedankt!!! Kamer is erg schoon.

Amazing staff who were very helpful with planning trips and booking trains! Nice room with very good air con, hostel is a bit far away from the centre but close enough.

A bit far away from the station, but lots of grab, so it's alright. Very nice staff, they give good recommendation to explore the city. Not the best option if you travel alone, many people were traveling in groups

Overall we didn’t really like this place. We stayed in the dorm, which wasn’t cozy or clean and there was not room for bags or anything, plus the locker didn’t close, so I slept with my stuff in my bed. If you stay there you’re sleeping very close to the other guests. And the shared bathroom was outside of the room and it was not really clean also. The staff was not very helpful and scammed us a little bit with the money. When we took another tour we booked ourselves instead of the one t...

OstiC House is great overall, but the best thing is the staff especially Rutni and Saturday. Some others are still in training and can't yet speak a lot of english, but are no less kind and caring! They helped us immensly by explaing the city and also the available options how to get to the temples outside the city. They booked the transportation to the temples and also took care of our airport transport as our flight left very early. Their food recommendations and the wifi were also great.

Great Hostel! The area has plenty of restaurants and bars, the staff is super friendly and gives plenty of tips, our room clean and beautiful. Airco cold and bed comfortable. Would definitely reccomend!

Great Hostel and the most helpful and lovely stuff.

Very nice little hostel with basic but clean private rooms, hot water and a cafe serving food and drinks in the reception area. Best thing about Ostic is the staff, who are exceptionally kind and friendly and were more than happy to help me find my way around Yogya, organise tours or even just to have a friendly chat! I would recommend this place.

OstiC House was an absolute dream. The place is well located in Yogyakarta (close to the nice central square with lots of local nightlife), is super comfortable and clean. The staff is truly the nicest; special shout out to Saturday who gave us some good recommendations and was contagiously fun and nice. Would 100% recommend for those on a budget.

We slept in the double bed room with bathroom. It was fine, just what we expected. The staff was very nice and arranged pick up and dropp off from the trai station for a good price. They were always prepared to help, even though some did not speak English. The swimming pool was a nice refreshment after a hot day. We had a great stay, although I would not recommend this hostel if you are travelling alone, as it seemed hard to meet other travellers. There were mostly families in the hostel.
