Clean, simple and quiet. Such a nice experience.

Als je op zoek bent naar rust in een mooie natuur omgeving dan is dit de plek. Er worden voor zover ik weet geen meditatiecursussen gegeven en geen activiteiten aangeboden. Het is erg rustig in de vrouwen slaapzaal voor 12 personen. Ik was er meerdere nachten en er was telkens maar 1 persoon of soms 2 extra. Ligt buiten de stad dus je moet met de taxi verplaatsen of een scooter gehuurd hebben. Op loopafstand is een 7/11 en kapper.

Very good homestay in a peace place !

Your breakfast is a loaf of bread next to a toaster with two very small, always almost empty pots of jelly. thats it. Period.The management would cook and eat a good breakfast sitting across from you. The location was not very convenient The airport is very close. The staff spoke to you as little as possible and smiled even less. I had to ask another guest where the water was. The bedding smelled, but otherwise clean. Insect proofed very well.

Bed was clean and dorm was light and airy. Surrounded in nature was a nice change from the city. However, the gardens are not very well kept and still near the city. The kitchen facilities are outside and nothing spectacular. The host was lovely but didn’t speak any english which made communication difficult. There is zero security - just a deadbolt lock on flimsy wooden doors (can't lock them otherwise latecomers cant enter) and there is no bag storage/lockers. A 25 min taxi away from town.

This is a quiet oasis away from the busy part of the city. The manager is very kind and helpful and the beds and linens are clean. My only problem is there are no lockers big or small to store anything, wish I had known before. But if you are looking to rest and be in a beautiful spot go here.

I loved the calm atmosphere. You can do your own thing and not be bothered by loud parties :) but also meet like minded people. Loved the garden space and the common seats inside the protection of mosquito nets. The rooms were clean and fresh. The shower tho didn’t get as hot as I’d wish for. Also I slept better in the dorms than in the private room. For the private, expect thin hard mattress and some cold. In the dorm the light does enter the room! Loved that

Absolutely loved Isight Hostel was so calming, booked for two nights ended up staying 7 total, definitely will visit again :) Thank you so much to the staff!

location is out of the hustle bustle but beautifully secluded, lovely nature and roaming peacocks, would stay again for a relaxing few nights! lovely host

The location was good, quiet, and beds quite comfortable. When I arrived the bathrooms were clean, but then someone made a mess and after nearly 48 hours it was still not cleaned. It seems they clean only the floor. Only one member of staff, who was usually not there and speaks no English ( not bad English, just no English). No space for luggage, lights on all the time, no proper doors, no sound insulation at all (luckily people hardly talk), few and small trash bins. Not lgbt friendly.

Comfortable bed with a light power and a curtain. Close to a main Street by university with many vendors of great affordable street food. A quiet hostel. Clean.

Quite relaxing hostel which was nice but it was pretty far from the city center unfortunately so we had to take taxi every time we wanted to go there. Clean and nice dorm

I enjoyed my 2 night stay @ insight hostel. Wanted a quiet place just outside of Chiang Mai to relax and get away from the city centre. Was made to feel very welcome and had a very comfortable stay.

Stay at this hostel if you want a break from the old city. Beautiful and quiet location right near a Buddhist temple. The mountains are super close for going on hikes and the university and zoo are also nearby. There is also a huge night market for street food a short walk away. The owner was very nice and accomodating!
