This place has new owners, so don't put too much stock in old reviews! They are very personable and generous, and making improvements to the place. The bathroom was in great shape, and sleeping area was clean. The location is great with easy access to Old City. While they do not serve breakfast, they have an espresso machine, and a sample of Thai snacks to choose from. They do not have laundry either, but you don't have to walk 5 min before you find laundry (and many many breakfast places).
Hostel is grim it's like a project that a stoner has started an not finished. weird tools left out on the stairs on all levels. The hostel has never seen a mop or broom. the toilets are actually disgusting didn't get cleaned once in the 4 days I was there. the toilet bin was over flowing with bum tissue, the guy just layers around in the hostel chill out area watching weird movies so you cant even sit and chill. you can feel every spring in the mattress.. stay somewhere clean it's dirty af
look, this place is a hostel. there are beds. there are curtains. there's wifi. there's lockers and keys. you can chill here, sleep here, location is awesome, it's cheap as hell. but it's just a bit quiet, and creepy, and the bathrooms aren't great, but it's a perfectly fine, comfortable, chill place to stay if you aren't picky
I will not come back here. The first and most important for me, is that the bathrooms are always dirty. That personally is crucial. I think this don’t cost too much, and make everything way better. I don’t know the frequency of cleaning, but should not be more than 3 days, or at least having constant checks if there’s no many people. You need to know, that there’s no constant staff at the front, so if you have issues, you’re screwed. Sadly, I will not come back!
Chinches, arañas en el baño y humedad en las paredes.
bathroom really not clean but nice bedroom
Came about 10.30am and hostel was locked, another guest let me in about after 20 mind waiting. hostel in good location on a street with many hostels. Reception guy v friendly and good rates on yours. There are no beds just mattresses on floor all in black sheets so hard to say if clean. But comfortable. There are curtains around, so have privacy. It was quiet at night. One shower on each floor. Nowhere to leave backpacks.
Not the best but not the worst, not social, but cheap
I enjoyed my stay here. It was just 1 night, but it was near temples and the Old Town. The staff was very friendly and chatty. It was on a quiet street.
great, chill and was nice to have bed individually closed off in dorm not bunk beds. the curtains dont totally block out the light (gaps above) but that's only if someone turns it on at night. no toilet paper or soap so bring your own. but free games and tv etc. clean.
I actually stayed in ‘Warm Hostel’ next door in the end as a partner to Lita Guesthouse. This didn’t bother me and for the price, was absolutely fine. It was well maintained with lovely staff and if you’re looking for a cheap layover like I was, it’s perfect!
Located down a really nice quiet street, has the essentials and more services. The owner makes this hostel, always extremely friendly and so eager to help. He brought the best vibes and energy, really making my stay
Great place with individual beds instead of bunks, each one nicely curtained off for privacy, handily located near the north gate, run by a friendly guy and surprisingly cheap for all that you get..!
I was not happy about this hostel. The main thing was that the rooms, bathrooms and commun areas were not clean. You have to pay extra for coffee, thee and water.
Ill be back
