Such a hidden gem! Although it is tucked away from the busy city area, its neighborhood has everything you need - 7-11, coffee shops, restaurants and street food stalls at night, all on the same street of this hostel! The bed is the most comfortable one I've ever had in a hostel. What's more, we have two pillows for our bed! Additional bonus, as it is a bit far away from the city center, it means fewer guests and quieter environment for you to have your own time!
This hostel is fantastic! The location is right next to the mountains and university so there are so many things to walk to. Definitely a quieter vibe not many westerners around the area at all. Super comfy beds and lockers with keys. The only thing is that there aren’t any curtains on the beds and I think some mosquitoes in the rooms. Still great overall would definitely come back!
Definitely not a busy hostel, I did check in late and maybe that's why but I shared a room with only two people which seemed to be local college students that were staying there. Very clean and secure. I stayed at this hostel because it is very close the the monks trail trailhead so if you were planning an early or late hike this would be a great option!
24/7 staff which was helpful when I arrived late and forgot to tell them. Really nice homey feel. No curtains on the beds though. Somewhat far from town, but still a busy area and it’s walkable (had few options with the lantern festival, so grateful they didn’t cancel). Only real complaint is that the bathroom and shower are together in a pretty small space.
