The Yard Hostel Chiang Mai

No faults! So easy to meet people here, the hostel is just such a nice vibe it’s easy to chill out there all day. Staff are lovely and provide such a yum breakfast that they refill for you.

Staff are so kind and the vibe of the hostel is just fantastic. Social but not a party hostel. Would recommend!

Our time here was incredibly special, TK and May were amazing and the facilities were perfect. We started in dorms which were clean and well kept with lockers, air conditioning and charging ports. The shared bathrooms were clean and we regularly saw the staff in there. We moved to a private room and it was so spacious and well kept, we were offered a room clean and it was so professional. Honestly we loved The Yard like a second home and can't wait to come back to you soon

The yard is so wonderful, met so many wonderful people and felt really at home. Everyone working there is so kind and helpful too, really that family feeling while traveling!

Best hostel I’ve stayed in, common area was perfect and really calm yet social during the evenings. Central with easy access to many other attractions. Staff was wonderful! Wish I’d had more time!

Excellent Hostel! Couldn’t fault them. Stay here! Great free breakfast, bathroom facilities clean with natural products to use. Aircon worked perfectly and staff are super helpful. Booked an elephant sanctuary through them too which was great. 10/10

Wonderful hostel in the middle of old town! The location is perfect- easy to get to most things but still very quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy! Breakfast also delicious. It was social but not party, which was perfect for me.

I'm a solo traveler, but wanted a solo room so I could work in the mornings but still socialize with people. The single room accommodations were spacious, had AC and clean. 2nd floor rooms had great sunrise views. The hostel's location was also very central and it was easy to walk to temples, and each gate of the city. Nested in a quiet neighbourhood with so many cafes nearby, and jazz bars. honestly best stay in Chiang Mai.

A wonderful space to meet beautiful souls. Move over Myers Briggs, "The Yard" is my personality type. Definitely the place to be if you're looking for a social hostel where it's easy to meet and hang out with other backpackers. The facilities and staff are also just exceptional.

Eins der besten Hostels, das ich je hatte! Es war eine tolle Atmosphäre! Das Personal war super nett, die Anlage ist sehr schön und hat einen großen Garten, wo man toll sitzen und Leute kennenlernen kann. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Perfekt!

Fantastic location. Down a side alley from the main streets so quiet yet a 2 min walk to everything you could want. Great recommendations for all budgets and interests. Clean room, comfy beds when staying in private room. Felt safe and secure. Great chill out space, although quiet in April. Recommend for chilled out travellers FYI Huen Phen for food!!

+ was cleand often + washing mashine and dryer for own use + chill garden + nice brekki + also indoor common room and small kitchen + free yoga class morning and evening Loved my stay there and met many cool people.
