Booked the ha giang with them and it was great
had a great experience, nice room for good price and booked the Ha Giang loop with them. Eventuely did the loop together with another tourist and our guide. had a lot of fun during the loop. After coming back transport to Hanoi was arranged easily.
I had a great time staying here. Staff are very fast to respond to any requests. I did the loop solo so the owner sent me a full map on google maps with locations and spots to stop at. Great deal on the bike, cheaper than anywhere else and breakfast was good every morning. Helped me get a bus to Cao Bang which also worked out $10 cheaper than on 12Go. Highly recommend
was a lovely place, but i was the only person staying, which was good because i had a whole 10 bed dorm to myself, but it was very dead, the host was extremely accommodating though and had a good chat with me about the area!
What a journey! Ha Giang’s Loop is pure magic. The knowledgeable guide made it enjoyable and safe. Scenic roads led us to picturesque villages and awe-inspiring landscapes. Staying with local families was touching. Their stories, food, and smiles were unforgettable. Truly an adventure for the soul.
This 3-day Ha Giang Loop tour was incredible. The driver ensured comfort and safety. Nature was unreal—mountains, valleys, and waterfalls. Homestays were clean, cozy, and filled with local charm. We learned about ethnic traditions and tried amazing food. A must-do for travelers seeking real Vietnam!
Ha Giang Loop to ukryty klejnot. Czterodniowa wycieczka była pełna przygód, a jednocześnie spokojna. Umiejętności prowadzenia pojazdu i wiedza lokalna były imponujące. Najważniejszymi atrakcjami były Dom Pao i nocny targ Dong Van. Przyroda, kultura i gościnność połączone w niezapomnianą podróż. Już planuję powrót!
Unforgettable adventure! The Ha Giang Loop tour offered stunning scenery, from limestone peaks to serene rivers. Riding with an experienced driver made it stress-free. Highlights included cultural exchanges with locals and a visit to the King’s Palace. Every moment was magical. Highly recommend for adventurous souls.
The 4-day Ha Giang Loop tour was amazing. Our driver-guide navigated the mountains with ease, letting us enjoy the spectacular views. Visiting ethnic minority villages and markets was fascinating. The food was fresh and delicious. I’ll never forget the sunset over the valleys. Absolutely worth it!
Ha Giang Loop exceeded expectations! A thrilling ride through jaw-dropping landscapes. The guide shared cultural stories and ensured safety. Highlights were the Ma Pi Leng Pass and Lung Cu Flagpole. Homestays added a personal touch with tasty meals and friendly hosts. Truly a life-changing journey through Vietnam’s best-kept secret.
An incredible 2-day Ha Giang Loop tour! The driver-guide was knowledgeable and safe. Mountains, rice terraces, and rivers were mesmerizing. The cultural insights, especially from village visits, were heartwarming. Homestay accommodations felt like home. Perfectly balanced adventure and comfort. Don’t miss this unique way to explore Vietnam’s beauty.
Standard place for a nights sleep, has a pool table. Few stains on the beds but sheets were still clean and for price is still good value. Staff very kind you can leave your bags here whilst you go on loop
I stayed in a private room after stranding in Ha Giang due to food poisoning. I just wanted to be alone for 2 days to fully recover and I got exactly that. The hostel was almost completely empty and it’s located quite far outside the city so there is nothing to do here. But it was perfect for me for that moment!
Nice hostel
Nice hostel in Ha Giang! Quiet area, big private rooms and really helpful staff!
For a few bucks a night this place could not be beat. I rented a bicycle and went around for the day. The staff was also really helpful and got me a really cheap bus ticket back to Hanoi. Will stay here again if I’m back in Ha Giang.
We had a wonderful trip with Xu and his friend on easy riders around the loop, organised through the hostel. They didn't speak much English but we taught them some and used google translate to converse. There was an issue with our accom at one village so we had a long drive on our second day which was tiring but we booked just a couple days before so maybe thats y. They also made up for it by finding an amazing cute cabin on a pond for us instead. The price was also the cheapest I saw. Thanks!
I really loved staying at Ali Hostel. We stayed there for two nights before doing the 4D3N Ha Giang loop with them. We were taking a bus that was supposed to arrive late at 10pm, and so we texted the staff to ask if any food places would be open when we arrived, and they were helpful with recommendations. Our bus from Sapa ended up breaking down four times on the ride over, so we arrived much later than anticipated, however when we did arrive they were quick to get us in our rooms and made us so...
is a good place to arrive before the loop. the place is clean and decent. I had a issue with the motorcycle I rented from Ali, the horn wasn't working, I told him and he told me to get it fix and he will pay. Found some mechanics to fix it but it would stop working after a few minutes. So I felt very unsafe during the loop. They should check the bikes before renting them, i was dissapointed with this. So be extremely careful and double check if you decide to rent from him
I visited Ali to ride the loop with my son. We ended up staying an extra day at the hostel and doing the 3-day loop instead of the 4 and the extra day at the hostel was a comfortable way to relax in Ha Giang. The staff at Ali go above and beyond - always answering any question with a smile. The tour through Ali was amazing - we had a smaller group than most that we saw on the loop and the accommodations Ali sets up are fantastic along the way. The tour guides know all the best places to stop
