Hostel Uppelink

Lage ist der einzige echte Pluspunkt. Ansonsten: Betten muss man selbst beziehen, kein Aufzug, Dusche und Klo sind außerhalb des Zimmers. Die Schließfächer sind viel zu klein – normales Handgepäck passt nicht rein. Lobby und Küche wirken eher wie eine Kneipe, kaum Atmosphäre. Zimmerzugang läuft digital über die Website. Bad war zumindest sauber. Für 70€ pro Nacht finde ich es zu teuer

the best view in ghent! the staff here were so friendly, remembered my name, always helpful. the kitchen area is very nice and spacious, cozy spots to hang out in. beds were comfy, felt safe and not loud. walking tours right outside of the hostel were great. the only downside is there is one washing machine and all of the showers are in one bathroom for many people so it can get a bit crowded/dirty. but otherwise fantastic stay!!

Het is een erg fijn hostel! Vooral de locatie is geweldig. Midden in de stad is ideaal. Er hangt een gezellige sfeer en ik heb leuke mensen ontmoet.

Overall, I had higher expectations for this hostel, especially since it was the most expensive one I've ever booked. The location is excellent and the staff are very friendly, but there are a few things to consider. The rooms don't have bathrooms, so you need to cross the hall to access small shared ones. Lockers are also quite limited in size and won't fit large luggage, only small backpacks.Additionally, the nearby streets can be noisy, and you can feel the bed shake slightly whencars pas

Muy lindo hostel, con una ubicación y vista increíbles. Camas cómodas con luz y enchufe pero sin cortinas. Lockers en la habitación bastante chicos, solo sirve para una mochila pequeña que contenga cosas de valor y ya. Staff muy amable y con buena predisposición. Cocina equipada y sala de estar con juegos y música. Recomiendo bastante!

Excelente! Volvería sin dudarlo. El único motivo por el cual no pongo10 en servicio es porque las camas no tienen cortinas. El resto, todo 10 puntos

If you're looking for something a little different, this hostel delivers exactly that. Being located within a protected heritage area, the building has its quirks , shared toilets per floor and bathrooms only on the top floor. But honestly, it adds to the charm rather than taking away from it. And cleanliness? Absolutely no complaints. The facilities are well-maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful throughout. One tip: book breakfast when you reserve your room. It's affordable.

When I stayed here ten years ago, I swore I would come back. I was glad to be able to finally do so, this year. Not much has changed, because why change a nearly perfect spot? There are not many hostels out there with a better view and location. Even with carpets, the place felt very clean (albeit old). Floors are pretty noisy, but can't do much about that. The staff were amazing, once again. Unlike many places on my trip, the other guests here didn't have social anxiety--a big plus these days
