Further away from Tam Coc centre which is what I was looking for- it’s peaceful . 60k bicycle rental which was good . So much to see in the surrounding areas just get lost on your bike. Cold/ Luke warm showers was main thing that got me and 4 person dorm is very crowded but for the price it’s okay
There was no breakfast or restaurant, so that needs to be updated but it's still a great place to stay for the price.
The breakfast was not satisfying, the portions were really small. I wanted to ask something at the reception but the guy was sleeping on the couch Next to it. It was also really cold, rooms are not well insulated - go there when it’s warm outside. It was clean.
the hostel is nice. the common areas are really good even though theres barely any people. the rooma wete good and spacious. the location is not ideal since its far out from the city centre, they do have bicycles tho.
Not very good hostel. Cockroach in the room, my friend saw the cleaner going through our friends bags. No locks on the doors. The owners were actually really lovely so don’t want to leave them a bad review but wasn’t a very good stay.
Overall would NOT recommend. No water refill station.. The staff was by far the worst I’ve come to experience thus far. Unhelpful and dismissive. They gave me a STOLEN bike from their inventory of bikes and charged me for it. I began riding the bike and was tackled off it and on to the road by the original owner who said it was stolen. I’m still in disbelief. When I returned to the hostel with the owner and a lobby of new guests checking in. They denied ever talking to me. WILD!
Pretty solid
Lovely and very clean place. Even if the bed is quide hard, I slept very well. A/C working good. Breakfast is included and very nice, you can grab as much as you want from bread, toast, eggs, fried noodles with vegetables, pineapple-pancakes, fresh fruit, coffee, limewater and watermelonwater. The staff is friendly and helpful if you aks them for anything. It is a bit out of the town, but close to some sightseeing spots, super chilled and quiet. Bicycle rent for 50k/day and laundry service.
The hostel it’s okay, beds are comfortable! A bit outside of town so you might need a bicycle or motorbike. Great breakfast!
Walls in bedroom and in bathroom were mouldy. Location is okay - 25/30 min walk in to main town or a quick bike ride. Staff were stand offish and not particularly welcoming. During check in and check out I had to wait 20 mins as the staff member was not there. While he was at the desk he was helpful enough
good hostel! it's a bit out of the way so quieter than in the city but you'll still meet people since it is quite a big hostel. it's fairly clean and the beds are nice, but there is absolutely no space for people's bags. my biggest criticism is that some of the staff (not all, some are really nice) just do not care. like they won't show you the room or give you any kind of information or even acknowledgement unless you explicitly ask for it. still, i would probably come back
Very nice hostel with beautiful outside area. The beds are huge and have curtains on every side. The staff was 50/50, one guy was very nice and helpful and another one was kind of grumpy and not friendly but all in all it was great staying there!
Outstanding view and staff! The location is the best you can find- close to everything while being slightly outside the very busy street of Tam Coc. It’s not a party hostel but a place to meet and interact with like-minded people. Next door you can rent a scooter for 150k per day or a bike for 50k. They can also arrange bus pick ups!
Die Atmosphäre in dem Hostel war sehr angenehm. Die Zimmereinrichtung ist relativ schlicht gehalten, leider gab es keinen richtigen Stau Raum für die Sachen. Ansonsten ist der Ausblick wunderschön und man kann eine tolle Zeit dort verbringen.
location and Hostel are wonderful!!! :) the only problem, they dont organise anything to bring the guests together.
This hostel is a gem, Thuy and his team give everything for their guests! The staff is incredibly helpful very kind and funny. It is a bit outside of TamCoc, which made it sometimes a bit of a hassle to come back at night, but the location right outside the birds Valley with the pool was incredible, and you can rent scooters/bicycles. in the evening, people are hanging out outside, playing pool and chatting. the beds are comfortable and spacious drinks are very good as well :) would recommend!
Amazing stay at the Hive. The location is a bit further out from town but I loved it, more rural with fabulous views and closer to some of the sights you want to check out like the bird nature reserve etc. Breakfast included in the mornings is tasty with good coffee. Bar and chill out area is a vibe. Only downside is I wish they had a water refill tap, you had to buy your own water and at the hostel bar which cost more than in the local shops. Apart from this it is a 10/10 hostel, must stay!!

LOVED this hostel, the staff are so friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is social but still later back and the outdoor area is stunning. Highly recommend 🤌🤌🤌
It was a beautiful location but you need a vehicle to move around. Beautiful view but that was the highlight. No towels included, expensive laundry, people are constantly smoking outside. Rooms are small, no cool hang out spot inside. Outside is nice though when you manage to not be consumed by smoke
