Fairy Knowe Backpackers

Beautiful and convenient location, staff were friendly and kitchen staff were excellent, provided a lovely home-cooked meal for breakfast. The social area had a nice vibe and atmosphere, our evening had some nice live music we listened to while playing pool. Room wasn't the cleanest, and everything was falling apart a bit. It could have done with a mosquito net, as it was very hot if you close the windows to keep the bugs out. Also, the dry store food we left in the kitchen was eaten by rats.

I really enjoyed my stay there.

Prima hostel met een hoog gehalte hippie-vibes, en dat moet je liggen. Het waren niet helemaal mijn type reizigers. Desondanks wel mooi gekanood en gewandeld daar met een groepje.

The location is beautiful, you feel like you are in the nature. They have a nice area outside where you can sit and enjoy the fire in the evening. The hostel isn’t so organized, the kitchen smells weird and it’s not really clean. Same for the bathrooms. Also the atmosphere wasn’t that grate when I was there, they showed rugby games on two screens. Would have been nice to have a place where you can chill without a screen around you.
