Youth hostel Luxembourg

A good hostel, bottom line is would stay again. Positives : Professional and helpful staff, 24/7 reception, unbeatable price to quality ratio, clean Neutral: Location at the bottom of a hill. Bus stop at top of hill, about a 2 min walk up - perfectly fine if you're fit but could be inconvenient otherwise. Could be improved: Breakfast is free but selection is very very limited indeed, agree with other reviews. Shower pressure was very low, almost a trickle and had no hot water in room B20...

Everything a little above average. Staff nice enough. Some more helpful than others. Bed good enough, bathrooms and showers clean. Hard to beat for the price. Maybe 15 minute walk into city center.

A very good 4 night stay … great location for exploring the city .

Full of very young students, not really a young adult vibe. No curtains on the bunks and no bathroom in room. €10 (€5 refundable) to rent a towel. Showers were very poor - ones on our floor were out of order. No shampoo or conditioner. Positives are an amazing location and Bar is good and reasonable and a nice terrace for the sun. Staff were nice. Breakfast was decent for free.

Sehr angenehmes Personal und super Lage. Nicht zu weit vom Zentrum entfernt und dich sehr leise.

Small clean rooms with nice big lockers. Breakfast ist fine. Very near to the city center and staff is really nice.

A very solid hostel- nothing special but not bad. Breakfast and location a plus- lack of soap supplied in bathroom a negative.

It’s a bare bones hostel so don’t expect much of it. Bed is comfortable but no curtain. I didn’t get much sleep due to the door being right next to my bunk and people coming in and out until midnight. Bathroom was okay but the shower was very wet with water on the tiles. Location was excellent though. Price wasn’t too bad for Luxembourg.

Great hostel!

Not all the staff, but some of them make fun of and laugh at the guests in French they believe that one does not understand them but they are understood. Two people from the reception were apparently on a phone call and were fighting very strongly on the phone. In addition, one of the people in the restaurant who works as a waiter, is very rude when talking and when he has to organise the living room he drags things, chairs and tables causing notorious acoustic discomfort.

Nice but quiet. Would struggle to meet people. Good location. Bar and restaurant were nice. Cheap buffet and pints.

Was a great option for Luxembourg, showers could have been a little cleaner I think.

Overall for Luxembourg city was a good and reasonable hostel. It should be a little bit cleaner . Soup or hand wash should be considered as well. The kitchen facilities weren’t enough,too. In general good experience with the staff, location and safety.

One of the best hostel i've been. The price is really correct, it's really well located, it's clean and safe. The breakfast is included and really good. I'll come back !

The rooms were as expected. The showers could have been cleaner for the cost. Being the only hostel in the area options are limited so this is a great option.
