Very cool and social hostel!!
Great place to stay
The location can’t get any better, the staff is wonderful. The only minor thing that I didn’t like is that the place does only accept cash as form of payment, and the descriptions on hostelworld says otherwise, where it says they also accept credit card payments. #SpeedyAroundTheGlobe
Good hostel. The atmosphere is really great and definitely seems to be the best social place around for travelers of any age. Place is a bit old and damaged, but staff and other travelers were really helpful. Laundry is available for 15 somoni which is nice.
Really bad mattresses, loud bed frames, lots of bugs in the room, room/bathroom was never cleaned in 3 days with same trash on the floor, they put a really weird local guy with no luggage in our room and he snored like crazy and was acting bizarre, people walk in and out of the hostel all day with no security or locks on doors. Staff was helpful, printed out my Uzbek visa which was nice.
Nice hostel in Dushanbe with good vibes!
Great location to plan the Pamir Highway, but otherwise I’d only describe it as ‘good’, not great. The AC is garbage, did nothing. They helped me to get an LOI which I appreciated. I asked them when I arrived and they didn’t say there was any charge due, so it can’t have been that important. Then later, they said there was: $25 for someone to type my name, DOB and nationality onto a document. What an insane charge. You’d think they’d do it for free or they wouldn’t ha...
A pretty good hostel which is popular with cyclists and motorcyclists stopping off in Dushanbe for a few days. My room was fine, and had functional air-conditioning which was much needed in the summer! There is a washing machine and Wi-Fi. The power did cut out at one point and there was no running water for a short time during my stay. Beware that payment is in cash only (either TJS or USD). Although the Hostelworld description says that card payment is available on arrival, it was not.
Great place to stay in Dushanbe. The number 8 bus is just a few blocks away and will take you to the city center (as well as the National museum) quickly. Friendly owner. Nice backpacker vibe.
I stayed in a dorm room that wasn't very nice and then changed to a private room that was 10/10. There was a big difference in quality between the two. The biggest issue with the dorm was how many people were sharing the one toilet/shower/laundry room next to reception, it took ages to queue to even go to the toilet. I would stay again but only in a private.
Only hostel in Dushanbe with kinda hostel vibes, the rooms are basic, no curtains but confortable and spacious, the toilets aswell, good full equiped kitchen and common areas. Friendly and helpful staff, lots of all kinds of travellers. Location is ok for Dushanbe, shops close by.
good vibe
Very good hostel in Dushanbe with a fun crowd of travellers - lots of people to share tips with. Private room was v good value - some of the bathroom facilities could do with an upgrade.
very nice stay in the center of Dushanbe , cozy and helpful people
Nice place good court yard walking distance to everything
Solid not much else to say but overall not bad 👍🏼
An ok hostel but don't expect anything special... social part is ok tho, especially if you're planning to go to or arrive from the Pamirs
Awesome place if you are backpacking, cycling or motorbiking. They have everything you need and all the information about the road ahead and the border crossing info. Friendly staff and good facilities.
Really good place! Good location, very clean, great atmosphere. The reception can help you doesn't matter, what you wanna know. There is also a shelf with free stuff, which mostly cyclist left behind. Very useful if you're going to the Pamir and need additional clothes or spare parts
