Great location, bars, coffee, great food all very close. Good size rooms, older building but cool spot.
This Hotel is great for the price and the location. The facilities are old, but seem to be reasonably well taken care of. The staff are fantastic, overall the value for money is great.
Enjoyed our stay. Bed was comfortable and room was spacious. Location was central- but far enough away to get a peaceful sleep. 15 minute walk to pike place- hotel is on a hill if walking up from pike. Only two downsides to our stay. Firstly the WiFi did not work within our room. Secondly the kitchenette didn’t have anything other than mugs. I feel like plates/bowls and cutlery should be included if kitchenette is offered.
Felt like i was in an old hotel
Went in February & was freezing pretty much every morning. Asked the staff to assist my first morning and they changed nothing. Convenient location but poor value for money considering its a 2 star
This place is definitely a gem... Location is everything! Super quiet, even though the hotel is located to a hospital. The stuff at the hotel are extremely friendly, speaking with Elizabeth at the front desk was really a great interaction. Our room was spacious, and clean. The room is dated but still clean. We were walking distance to amazing restaurants, street cart and subway station. We will definitely come back!
vintage hotel cordial pleasant little noisy because of the hospital in front then everything inside is good and close to live the experience of seattle for the first time as in my case
Staff were very helpful and nice, but the support for amenities was shaky. That is to say, my stove was out of order and there was a massive service outage and we lost Wi-Fi for almost 2 full days. I understand that things can go wrong but the hotel should really build up some better backups, especially for the internet. I was working and had to use the Wi-Fi at the hotel around the corner, where I assume there was a backup server. It's a critical amenity that we all need, expect, and paid for.
Nice old Hotel in a good location, if you like walking, you are able to reach all the important sightseeing places by foot. Sadly it is quite expensive (more than 500€ for three nights), the bed was only about 1,20m and too soft. There was some roadwork and/or gardening going on waling us roo early every morning. But this is, of course, not the hotel's fault. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. There was no roomservice at all, but I think, that is okay for just three nigh...
Overall great. Did not rate high for security as there’s never anyone at the reception (check in and out in the hotel across the street) so anyone can just come in and get access to the hallways… Regarding the room, Calm enough, clean, comfortable, spacious. However I booked this hotel as every room comes with a kitchen, but… no ustensiles whatsoever (no plates, pans, silverware, etc) so overall useless kitchen!! Be aware of that when booking.
Up a very long steep hill, I'm fit & found it difficult with a suitcase - definitely get a taxi to here! We stayed in July & the room was far too hot. They provided a large portable fan in the room & it was turned on when we arrived but it was still so hot. The fan is very loud so you might not be able to sleep through that. I live in a city & found Seattle incredibly loud at night! Single glazed windows. Front desk caused confusion by overcharging us & taking ages to explain that was a deposit.
Had everything we needed. Clean, easy parking, different routes to downtown and stadium area. Room was cool despite the heat outside. Always saw staff around, even in the evening. Better than expected, A+.
It was great, got good sleep, area was nice, price was great, person at desk was nice and helpful. Would stay there again.
