Urban Camper Hostel & Bar

A nice hostel where I've stayed several times. Great atmosphere with the bar, big "living room" and terrace + we love the camping vibe. On the downside, there’s no kitchen, so it’s not practical if you’re planning a long stay and want to cook. It can also get quite hot at times in the rooms that don’t have windows, and since the rooms are tents, they’re not very well insulated, so you can easily hear noise from the hallways.

Gute Lage, super Atmosphäre, coole Bar, aber relativ laut am Abend und am Morgen in den Zelten, da es ringhörig ist. Und leider hat es keine Küche.

The double private is preferred, could have never stayed in one of those Tengs, too little privacy.

Really cool concept a bit further from the city centre.

Booked due to location and reviews. Urban camper is like a home from home. You feel comfortable here. The accommodation is quirky and fun just a tad warm at night but cant complain about it as we slept like logs every night. Great staff and always helpful, very chilled vibe, excellent choice of beer and games. Great location to all transport links. Will definately in return in the future.

J’ai adoré mon séjour au Urban Camper! L’ambiance y est calme, chaleureuse et agréable avec un espace commun cozy et avec de la bonne musique d’ambiance. Nous avons également vraiment très bien dormi malgré les tentes. Le personnel est très aimable et les gens qu’on a rencontré là-bas ont été de belles rencontres. A very nice place to stay. You just have to consider if you have big backpacks, they will most likely not fit in the lockers, so there is an element of trust within the people around you, as your tent dose not zip. Apart from that the location is great and food options around the hostel are very good.

really good vibes and a great place to be

ingegnosa come idea ma un po’ claustrofobica. le tende sono in uno stanzone quindi, è come tutti insieme, separati da un telo. altra pecca, per me, è la mancanza di una cucina o di un frigorifero comuni (fondamentali in ostello). non avevo trovato informazioni a riguardo ed ero andata a fiducia…peccato in ogni caso, bagni e ambiente puliti, bar/pub molto carino con una bella atmosfera.

El personal fue muy amable. no me gustó las habitaciones son muy cerradas y casi no hay ventilación. El hostal creo que favorece el bar antes que el hostal. la zona es un poco rara, cerca del hostal hay muchos indigentes y se siente un poco inseguro por la noche. el hostal está lejos de las zonas más turísticas

Wasn’t a fan. Great idea in theory. But the biggest lack is ventilation in the tents. If you are sensitive to heat- this is not a good hostel for you. I didn’t sleep for almost 5 nights due to the hot stuffy smelly air in the tent. It seems this is a common gripe based on other reviews and I should’ve believed it. They always respond back and say the rooms are temperature controlled at 70 degrees F. I keep my home around that temperature and don’t sweat the bed and lie awake all night. N...

Ich war zwei Nächte im Urban Camper Hostel und würde immer wieder buchen. Es ist eine sehr freundliche, ruhige und saubere Unterkunft. Große Empfehlung:)

Clean. A bit of a distance from Copenhagen city centre. Very comfortable hostel. Good lockers. Definitely great value option for staying in Copenhagen.

Great Location but expensive

I had such a great time staying at Urban Camper! I was only there for one night but wish I could've stayed for longer. The common areas, bar, and terrace are so much fun, have a great vibe, and the staff are so friendly as well. The actual tents (rooms) were a fun difference than most hostels and provided such a cozy feel. It was a little warm on the top bunk due to little airflow, but the bedding was nice to just shrug off. Would stay again!

The hostel is well situated, clean and the staff is friendly. There are a few things to improve: The toilets don't have a window/air conditioning, so it stinks quite a while after doing business. Unfortunately, there isn't any common room except the very noisy one. So it's hard to have a conversation or chill out. As I said, everything else was very good. Thanks for having us!
