Wakawaka Hostel

I had a really great experience staying here. The atmosphere is welcoming, relaxed and feels very genuine. The staff is kind and always available, and you can really feel that they care about the guests. It’s the kind of place where it’s easy to connect with people and feel comfortable right away. The location is also very convenient, and overall everything made my stay enjoyable and memorable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Arusha.

I didn’t get to go to the hostel that was described in the app. I get it that it’s a low season but still it was a let down. I also had problems when asking for a more fair price with the laundry service. I didn’t know how much my clothes weight and they didn’t tell the price beforehand. Usually you try to make a client happy but here the owner(?) started blaming me. I talked to my local guide and he told me you can get a better place with more affordable price. They charge a lot.

Very nice hostel in Arusha ! staff was very friendly and breakfast was good. it feels like home. there was no hot water which was a bit disappointing and wifi a bit unstable. but compensated by kindness of the host.

We hebben een hele leuke tijd gehad bij het Waka Waka hostel! David en zijn crew waren mega aardig en ondanks we in het laagseizoen er waren voelde we ons zeer welkom. De ontbijtjes zijn top en we zijn zelfs een keer de zonsondergang gaan kijken!! Als ik nog een keer naar Arusha zou gaan dan zal ik zeker hier verblijven :)

Very simple but good hostel - felt like more of a B&B in a good way. Naima personally cooked us breakfast each morning which gives you an idea of how small it is, but we met some really nice travelers and the breakfast table was a nice place to chat with folks and hear about things happening in the city. Would book again.

Amazing stay at Wakawaka house! David is a fantastic host who went above and beyond many times for me and other guests including setting up my incredible safari. Big shout out to Eddie, a local guide who works with Wakawaka house - if there's anything you want to do, or if you don't know what to do around Arusha just ask for Eddie and he will show you a good time. Can't wait to be back again.

Ich hatte das Wakawaka Hostel gebucht. Als ich dort ankam war nur das Personal da. Sie sagten, dass sie mich stattdessen ins Wakawaka House bringen, da dort mehr Leute sind. Der Prozess war verwirrend und nervig und wurde erst später richtig erklärt. Ich finde, das geht so nicht, da ich eine andere Unterkunft gebucht hatte. Das Wakawaka House ist eher ein Hotel als ein Hostel. Das Wakawaka House war ebenfalls wenig besucht, keine angenehme Atmosphäre. Ich war mehr oder weniger alleine. Der Do...
