Galway City Hostel

First time in a Hostel. Staff were great and the facilities were in good shape. Loved the nightly bar crawls and dinners for only €5. Both of which encouraged people to be social and get to know each other. Would absolutely stay again on my next trip through Galway.

Everyone involved with the hostel is incredible. Tom, Maura, and Leah were all so friendly and helpful and are a big reason why I loved staying here. The pub crawls are a fantastic event that is held 5 times a week and really helps bring guests together to meet each other. Really helped me feel comfortable being a solo traveler during the stay. The location is also perfect. Right on Eyre Square and close to all the pubs. I’ll be back and it won’t be soon enough. Genuinely sad to be leaving.

En la descripción del hostal decía textual que ofrecían “zona de estacionamiento libre” y cuando llegamos nos recomendaron 2 parking, uno que quedaba cerca y otro más lejos que tenía descuento con ellos. Todo lo demás muy bien, es un gran lugar, súper bien situado, limpia y seguro. Pero deberían corregir la descripción para que sea acorde a los servicios

Such a fantastic stay! The community and staff are incredible and the hostel itself is clean, comfortable, and convenient. Would absolutely stay here again if I return to Galway!

Good but expensive

Absolutely loved my stay at Galway City Hostel! Huge shoutout to Tom - his energy is amazing, so kind and welcoming, and he truly goes above and beyond! The hostel is super clean, the kitchen is great, and the free breakfast with homemade soda bread is delicious. Perfect location, walking distance to everything. Amazing vibe - so easy to meet people. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite hostels I’ve been too great people and atmosphere

Clean, friendly, fun and the best location!! I Extended my stay here due to how much I loved it. The staff and shout out to Tom was beyond helpful and so good at getting the hostel guests together and make the atmosphere so homey. The free breakfast and occasional dinners were the best I truly think this is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Thank you again will love to come back!!

Amazing hostel! Central location, clean, tidy, cozy, great facilities, free breakfast included & family dinners for €5 euro. They also run pub crawls each night which is a great way to meet people. I would recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Galway. Staff are also amazing & so friendly!

I liked it Very friendly and accommodating staff! Close to everything

This was the best hostel experience I've ever had. It's the perfect distance from all the pubs and nightlife. As a 23 year old woman, I felt extremely safe and cared for. Tom is a gem. Can't say enough good things. Highly recommend participating in the hostel pub crawl to meet some awesome people.

Best hostel I’ve ever been in - everything you could want in a hostel. Kind staff, clean, good water pressure, cozy area to meet people, breakfast, location is perfect, quiet… spacious, no smells, man oh man. I’m now ruined for other hostels… :)

Amazing hostel! It's a few hundred meters from the main shopping street and the center of the city so really easy to navigate to the main spots. Really safe and cozy place. The staff were so friendly and kind, Amy gave us really good recommendations for the local pubs and food places as well!! The complimentary breakfast was delicious and afternoon tea helped to get thru the day :D Thanks xoxo

One of the best hostels i’ve stayed at. The staff was super welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfy. Hot showers with included towel, really good free breakfast, a kitchen that you can use and a cozy living space to meet other travelers. Activities are also organised by the hostel. Would 100% stay there again.
