I like this place, it was close to everything amd quiet at night. Don’t ask for social cause there isn’t any but it’s decent.
I was there in January and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Everything was clean, relaxed, and worked well. There were free beach towels that were washed daily, the location was fantastic, and the staff was very friendly. I foolishly left my trousers behind, but the staff sent them to me, which is by no means a given. Thank you for this 10/10 service; I would definitely come back.
nice rooms, no real hostel vibe though
The 6-person dormitory room is a bit small. The staff girl speaks very poor English. For the rest, everything is okay, the price-quality ratio is slightly high.
Overall, the hostel was quite good and comfortable. However, the bathroom had a very small trash bin that filled up quickly and often overflowed. It didn't get emptied until the next day, which sometimes left toilet paper and other trash on the floor — not the most pleasant sight. Aside from that, everything else was fine.
Great location walkable to the Main Street and from the pier. Easy checkin and checkout process
The bunk was ok, the property is in a great location easily walkable to the beach. The breakfast and coffee were great.
Very nice and clean hostel in a good location. The island is very quiet so the hostel was not that lively but I met nice people. Good AC in rooms although bathrooms could be nicer. Staff were very friendly and gave us recommendations
Very happy with my stay. Nice rooms with comfortable beds, and very kind staff. Nice sitting area in first floor. Would definitely recommend staying here. Went to Cocoon one night first, but this place was way better. Only thing I did not like is that the lockers are outside. It does not feel safe, so took my thing in the locker to the room during night. Should have a bigger locker in the room instead. However I would definitely recommend staying here!
I stayed at Stay Samed in February. Woe, it was truly a lovely experience. The two managers / staff Mali and Chai worked hard everyday to keep the place clean. The dorms themselves were excellent, clean, comfortable beds with curtains, only 6 occupants max to a dorm with ensuite well equipped bathrooms. I found the property and relaxing / working spaces were comfortable to relax and work in. The other occupants were all really nice too. I spoke to a variety of people from young solo trave...

Stay Samed was absolutely perfect!! Myself and a group of 4 other girls went to the island for a weekend get away from teaching in a near by city and it was amazing ! The hosts of the hostel were so friendly and being an all girl group we felt very safe! We got one of the dormitories and it was perfect for our group! The dorm had AC, fresh towels and new water bottle each day! The hostel is less than 10 min walk to the beach with its own cafe on site. Definitely recommend and we will be back! :)
Nicht besonders Social aber cool zum chillen
Goed verzorgd hostel vlakbij alles. Vriendelijke en behulpzame familie die het hostel runt. Ik heb er 4 nachten geslapen, de kamer zijn klein, maar fijn. Enigeminpunt was het bed, erg hard ( privé kamer). Dat heeft wat mij betreft aandacht nodig….niet zo comfortabel.
Très sceptique les 2 premiers jours notamment par le personnel qui était pas super fun, j'ai ensuite été agréablement surpris car en fait le couple qui gère est d une grande gentillesse qui franchement ma arrangé a de nombreuses reprises . Pour l hôtel en lui même . Très bien placé. Propreté irréprochable. Franchement sur cette île , on peut pas faire mieux en terme qualité prix . Je recommande vraiment cet hôtel 😉
Ideal place to stay in Koh Samet, lovely staff and plenty of places to sit and work/chill.
Tout étais parfait et les hôtes très accueillant et très serviable, l’hostel étais très propre et les lits bien confortables.

Really nice hostel, the family who runs it is really nice too. It's not a party hostel (it's not a party island) but it's very easy to meet people in the common areas. Everything is very clean, they change the towels every day.
