Good security, staff friendly, easy to communicate, transportation is proposed for activities, food can be booked from outside. They should propose soap and toothpaste for sale for those who need. Good money for the value.
Really nice hostel in Vic Falls town. It's quieter than shoestrings, but significantly further out the centre. if you want something more relaxed than shoestrings go here. Good pool and restaurant as well. Recommended.
Nice, chill hostel in Victoria Falls.
Loved my stay at Vic falls. The place is very serene, no noise and very quiet. Close to the city centre and any amenities you might want
The staff is friendly. Hostel is great. They prefer payment in USD cash and charge 5% of paying by PayPal. Location is further from town but closer to game reserve and quieter.
Splendid stay at a helpful and friendly lodge. Thanks to all the team.
It was a nice hostel in walking distance to the city center with amazing breakfast (extra fee). The rooms were big and comfortable with Moskito nets. The kitchen was well equipped and the common area was nice. Sadly we had mice (and mice poop on the whole bed) in our room, which seems to be normal since no one was surprised. If you are out during the day you won’t find any employee at the reception which makes it hard to plan anything . Even for check out no one was there, even though they n...
Overall a nice stay, with sweet personal and nice location. However, there was no soap on the bathrooms (which would have been nice to know beforehand). Also one of bathrooms missed a lock, which is nice in a shared bathroom…
Had the most perfect stay here! It’s not directly in town - but it’s a nice walk. BRING SMALL BILLS IN USD those are gold. They have an in house chef for a small cost who makes breakfast, lunch and dinner🤌🏼 Staff is knowledgeable, kind and helpful!
This was a great place for us in Victoria Falls. Nice quiet location, very helpful and friendly staff, especially Blessing at the front desk. We opted for one of the tents, which was quite affordable and I slept well. Thank you!
Very nice place. Kitchen with a lot of tools, cozy pool, great staff
Okay hostel for one night
Really helpful and friendly staff, great Wi-Fi, kitchen for cooking, very clean and a quiet pool area to hang out in. They even helped return several items we left behind!
The nice thing about being a backpacker is that you can make a lot of new acquaintances here.
rooms were way too hot. I was perfectly comfortable with a fan blowing on me, but it was unbearable when the fan would oscillate away from me. typically I can handle hot too. pool needed to be cleaned more often and the fridge and freezer were questionably clean and cold. the most insane thing was no water available to purchase or free filtered water.
no drinking water available on the spot
Good secure place to chill between trips out. A little far from the centre of things. The staff will help organise activities- I recommend a morning game drive in Zambezi national park. Really near and loads of wildlife
Great help from Orlington, he made the trip awesome. Really appreciated access to the taxi, hated having to negotiate for prices though.
Stayed there for two nights. Not very social, more families less Backpackers. The staff is very friendly and can tell you how to get a bus to Lusaka for example or they can arrange taxis for you. at daytime the town Centre is just a 20min walk. Everything is very expensive in Zimbabwe since they use US dollar. Make sure you bring enough cash into the country. I had Rand which was fine (but oftentimes they can’t give you change). visa 30 usd (you cannot withdraw or change money before immigrati...
We enjoyed our stay, the spa is excellent (thanks Joana!) and the pool was ideal. Staff were friendly and happy to help - we mostly dealt with Olly who was great!
