Hotel Sol Algarve

+ We stayed here the first night before heading west by car hired. The rooms were clean. There is a nice garden next to breakfast room. Breakfast was available for fee and had an excellent range of continental food, coffee choice and juices. - My bed was noisy when moving from side to side. The socket was too far from the bed table. Expect there are paper walls. I could hear everything from the room under mine. The bathroom door couldn't be closed. I had to use the bathroom bin to keep the door...

We stayed here for our last night in the Algarve region since we need to catch a bus in the morning. Overall, a nice clean place to stay but finding the hotel was a challenge…even for our Bolt driver. The FlixBus pickup location was about a 10 minute walk from the hotel but that is no fault of the hotel. Staff was friendly.

There’s a lot to like about this hotel: it’s clean, it has an elevator if you need it, the rooms have balconies (where I dried my hand-washed clothes and sipped wine), the shower works well and is big enough to not bang your arms while washing, there are drawers, hangers, and a rod for clothes/bags, a desk and chair, and TV. One drawback: the room is crammed for two people. Bed is comfortable. Staff was great! Breakfast is available if you want it for a small cost. Many food options.

Overall the hotel is amazing for its price and location, it’s only a 5 minute walk to the Marina, and has 24/7 staff & free beach towels. However you cannot price anyone back, which is something to remember. Would 1000% stay here again
