Code Hostel at Lavender

Eins der schlechtesten Hostels in denen ich bisher war. Auf den Bildern ist nicht zu sehen, dass die Betten zum Teil dreistöckig sind und die Zimmer so eng sind, dass die Leiter nur schwer genutzt werden kann. Das Gepäck kann nicht in die Zimmer und wird draußen ungesichert abgestellt. Zudem gibt es lediglich 2 Toiletten und eine Dusche für knapp 25 Gäste, auch diese befinden sich draußen im Gemeinschaftsbereich, welcher aus einem Tisch besteht, an welchem unangenehme, aufdringliche Gäste...

this stay was totally fine for 1 night and good for the price in Singapore. Bed is comfy, clean and capsule style with a blackout curtain, but it was a bit hard to climb as I was on the middle bunk. (The beds are in 3 tiers- would not have liked to be on the very top) rooms a bit cramped Everything was clean. There was only 1 shower in the whole hostel but wasn’t a problem when I was there, and the hostel seems pretty small anyway. Toilets don’t feel private, they’re kind of in the kitche...

Les lits sont très confortables même si la chambre est effectivement petite et que aucun sac ne doit être laissé à l’intérieur. L’atmosphère est morte, personne ne se parle. Les toilettes ont du papier une fois sur deux mais propre. Le petit déjeuner n’est pas fameux.

En gros ça va Les chambres sont un peu étroite on est vite les uns au dessus des autres Un peu chiant de devoir laisser son sac dans le hall - à la limite dans des liciers ça aurait été mieux - pas pour des histoires de vol mais + pour l’organisation (sac de partout, difficile de bien s’organiser) Salle de bain cava Cuisine pas trop équipé Le logement est bien pour 1 nuits si escale à Singapour

Sehr kleines Hostel mit bemühten Mitarbeitern, Basic Frühstück inklusive allerdings hat mir nicht gefallen dass man seinen backpack draußen im Küchenbereich lagern muss und hinten dran tagsüber komplett offen ist sodass man theoretisch über die Terrasse einsteigen könnte

Rooms were nice enough luckily I had bottom bunk as being on the third level looks like no joke. Nice that you can have a hot drink and toast in the morning. Small social area and not very social regardless. Unfortunately only a few showers and toilets between everyone which makes morning showers a battle. Easy enough to ride a bike to the gardens etc

We had such a brilliant stay here. Right from the start the staff were incredibly helpful, with accommodating our late check in needs and ensuring we could get in after a long flight! The whole place is clean and beds are comfy and spacious. The curtains around the bed are also really good. There are tea and coffee making facilities for everyone and the complimentary breakfast was a great touch. The social space is nice and open plan with an outside area. Would recommend!

This was good for one night only. Location was good but we felt uncomfortable leaving our belongings outside the room without being locked away. Please note there was also a third floor bunk bed, which made it difficult to navigate with the room being a tight squeeze & not having a personal locker for this bed.

Schönes eher kleines Hostel

staff was really nice. unfortunatelly the other people staying in the hostel werent really talkative but that depends. The Beds were really noisi everytime i moved a little bit which was really annoying but I only stayed one night so it was okay. near the Hostel isnt much to do but the busstation is nearby and the bus takes you everywhere in short time:))

die toiletten und dusche befinden sich mitten in der küche, kann man sich selbst denken wie das ist… für 1 nacht okay aber länger kann man es da nicht so gut aushalten.

I wish I could have left sooner. The room is TINY and I couldn’t even fit my shoulder width between the beds, have to turn sideways to get past the stairs (not to mention there are beds 3 stories up). Not much as far as a common area and half of what there is gets closed off at 10pm. Can’t bring your bag into the room it’s outside on a rack and 2 toilets and 2 showers for this many people is simply not enough. Until 10pm anyone can walk in, no key card or locks on the rooms or bag area.

Yeah it's nice. The rooms are too overcrowded, and not great air circulation so smell weird. It's expensive but I guess that's just SGP prices

Overall pretty good, though not very social… air conditioned room which was good, though bag storage wasn’t great, their was a big rack in the common area and then a tiny shelf in the room… I ended up just keeping my bag at the end of my bed.

I spent 4 days in Singapore, the bed was very comfy and also gave you full privacy with the black out blinds. I was greeted by a lovely lady who was kind to me the whole duration of my stay. It was sometimes annoying not having my suitcase in the room but I quickly got used to the routine and was very much happy with my stay with two stations being so easy to walk to it made my entire trip much more pleasant :))

nice for a little stay. note that bigger luggage has to be stored outside the room in an open shelf. staff is friendly. you can use washing machine and dryer and there is an overpacked fridge. breakfast is toast and jam. close to public transport.

!!please urge your guests to stick to the house rules!! it’s quite unpleasant to be woken up at 4am because people are entering the room and being loud for 2 hours without acknowledging that there might be people sleeping. a few cons concerning the hostel itself were the breakfast that merely consisted of toast and some jam & the cleanliness wasn’t the best. other than that the hostel is chill and close to the city center — more than sufficient for a brief city visit!!

Not worth more than 10€ a night and out of necessity. Too many beds for too little space, your bags have to sit elsewhere and there’s 2 toilets and 2 showers for… 20 guests?? Also some beds are haphazardly under slanted ceilings and the poor soul that sleeps there gets little to no privacy. Not the vibe.
