I thought this place was fine. The cubes were comfortable but mine had a very low ceiling so it felt small. The toilets & showers are also across the reception / common area which is weird: this isn’t the case for people on the upper floor. I think you should charge less for the lower floor. There was no social vibe at all. Location was very good. Overall I’ve had better capsule hotels and I’ve had worse, but this felt overpriced to me
Not quite sure why this place is rated so well. The beds are comfortable and efficient, but the common area is cramped and uncomfortable. Some of the showers didn’t work properly and the bathrooms are very small. The staff weren’t very friendly either. Coffee machine wasn’t working too.
Wouldn’t return here. Walls are super thin you can hear into the next down, couldn’t get much sleep. Toilets/ showers often full. Staff weren’t very helpful, breakfast although free the cereal had ants in! Laundry facilities were poor also
This place is very well located in Chinatown. Super close to the MRT and buses, Hawker Centers, and a great base to explore Singapore. Toilets were ok. Generally speaking this kind is my favourite in a hostel: a whole room with sink, toilet and shower inside the same space, instead of cubicles. But they were meh. To begin with, a lot of them were shut down to maintenance, so at certain hours of the day, you need to wait a bit (never too much). Then, the layout of some of them made that even for ...
The property is very secure and clean but if anything, it lacks a little atmosphere as no events are run there. Overall good experience and would definitely stay again
Super nice and clean hostel in the middle of Chinatown. Great base to explore Singapore. The staff were so lovely and helpful too. You get a light breakfast included.
This place is essentially a 10/10 - the only nag is that the bathrooms were a bit small and shower water goes everywhere. Super clean and professional. Cosy pods that feel very private. Large secure storage under the beds (pin locked). The BEST location, I could literally roll out of bed and walk across the street straight into Chinatown Complex for breakfast. Not a very social atmosphere but I feel that’s the same across Singapore. Such an amazing hostel, would highly recommend!
Very nice hostel but not very social. Toilets could have been cleaned more often
I loved the location in Chinatown! The breakfast was basic but it was nice that it was included. My locker was on the hallway outside of my room very far away which didn’t feel very secure so I ended up not using it. (All the other lockers were in the room…) My room was probably the most quiet room I’ve ever stayed in, like it was dead silent but I loved that!
Location was great - beds were very nice and comfortable. Although rooms are very small. We had 4 people in our dorm but only about a metre by metre square of floor space which made it a hassle to get things out of suitcases as we had to plan a rota of who would get ready first. We only stayed for 2 nights so we managed it but any longer and I think it would drive us insane! Also my bed the main light wouldn’t work so was really hard to get ready as I couldn’t see properly.
Sehr bequemes Hostel. Leider gibt es keine Veranstaltungen, sodass man kaum mit anderen Reisenden in Kontakt kommt.
Perfect hotel experience for hostel prices
Cockroache was really terrifying. The attitude of staff was funny, they only suggested to go to platform. Only 2 toilets together with shower for 1 whole floor. Staff was really not helping when asked to adjust the wind speed and air con. Price is way more expensive than other channels. It doesn’t deserve the rating and price .
One of the bathrooms flooded, but others were available and worked quite well.
The hotel was clean and staff very friendly. The cubes were comfortable and handy, and the ventilation in the room was perfect. Good lockers and possibility to leave luggage to reseption after check out. Very nice breakfest (noodles + option to fly your own eggs, toast and fruits), felt more like a luch to me! The batrooms were very private and there was always an empty one available. Only tiny con was the shower drain, that was not fully functioning and the water started to rise on the floor.
bed is comfy, room is quiet; well designed space for each bed public space is limited and limited restroom space on the 2nd floor (3 serving 24 if full) but bearable since it's not peak travel season.
Tolle Unterkunft, ein wenig teuer für die Raumgrösse - in Summer aber eine super Unterkunft in Singapur! Würde ich definitiv wieder buchen!
Rooms were very nice.
Great hostel, the location is perfect, you can walk everywhere and the MRT is nearby too. The beds and the hostel are comfortable in general
Excellent location, great for a short stay. We stayed for 2 nights and our air con wasn’t working on our first night. The ladies at reception gave us fans and we had such a good nights sleep. On our second day, men came in to fix the air con and it was perfect then. The only downside is the bathrooms. Often, people’s belongings (clothes, toothbrushes, even contact lenses left there!!) a bit gross.. Maybe have signs to say no personal belongings left in communal bathrooms or they’ll be remo...
