ST Signature Chinatown

Would 100% steer clear of this place. Insects crawling all over shelves and floor in my room. Carpet was filthy. Bathroom was very unclean and far from bedroom. Felt rather unsafe going from the bedroom to the toilet during the night as there is no lock on the main door of the hostel and anyone can just wander into the premises. There is also no staff present ever.

It’s more of a cubicle like hotel with no staff whatsoever. Not really a hostel, more of a place to spend the night if you’re in Singapore.

Good location in chinatown. I took the budget single room and just for one night was perfect. No reception at all so when you arrive you have to self check-in. The shared toilette was not so clean

Bed was comfy and felt secure even though I had a high bed and I'm a bigger gal 😄 full kitchen facilities if you need them. Bathroom was quite far away on a different floor which wasn't ideal and you can quite clearly hear your neighbours talking, but folks seemed considerate and it was quiet at night. No staff onsite - check in and open your room with your phone.

overall good place to stay in Singapore

I really liked my stay at ST Signature. The location is amazing - surrounded by cute cafes, restaurants and bars - and I always felt safe outside & inside. If you‘re not looking for a social place but somewhere clean, comfy and central it’s the right place for you. The rooms are not at all soundproof though, so I could hear the guy next door sing to himself all night. That’s just bad luck I guess. For the price I would really recommend it though!
