The staff was really rude and they tried to charge me 40€ more than than what the Hostelworld booking said.
I stayed here six nights, and for three I was alone in a four-bed and the other three there was one other person. Security wasn't bad, there weren't lockers in the room but there were cupboards. Location decent, about fifteen minutes from city centre and thirty from Hauptbahnhof, but it's a walk along the Palace outskirts on the Rim which is easy to remember. Free breakfast until 9, and it's decent, and I payed €40 a night including the breakfast which is a good rate. Overall: quite go...
Multiple things to consider before you book there: - You will likely pay more than advertised. You have to pay a membership tax fort each day you stay and if you have more than 27 yo - You can’t eat you own food anywhere in the building, it is forbidden. There is no kitchen to make food, no boiler, no microwave - Impossible to lock your things in the rooms - you will hear everything that happens in the building - The hostel had big teenager groups all the days we were there, it was noisy
I thought it was nice and clean. the breakfast was really good and included. I think most of the guests speak German there. the problem I had with it was first you have to take a tram from the main train station and then it's also it's a 10 minute walk from there. I had trouble getting to the train station on time after checking in do to the 30-40 minutes round trip time.
