+ Me encanto el concepto de solo chicas! Ambiente tranquilo y muy amigable siempre, varios detalles muy chéveres!
- Un poquito lejos de playa pero igual accesible

+ I really liked the calm and respectful space. Loved the activities offered and the friendliness of the women working/volunteering there.
+ From the second I arrived I felt safe and relaxed . I upgraded to the private room upstairs which felt like a palace . I loved the yoga and workshops that we could take part in on the terrace. Loved the coffee brewing and the lovely connections made.
- Nothing
+ The location, the staff and the atmosphere
- I have no complaints, loved everything about it

+ This is my second time staying, first time in a private room. Great overall. You always meet people, and you can be as social or as unsocial as you want, and there are lots of activities, and almost daily yoga.
- Was unable to figure out the wifi for the my room, and when asked staff they did not know there was a separate code for upstairs. On my last day, it was the person in the room next to me that told me how to access. I ended up spending a lot of money on data, which increased my costs overall.
+ Super close to the Center and beach and to all restaurants. Bus station is about 10 minutes walk away. They have a yoga deck with classes and mats to practice on anytime as well as a really bell equipped kitchen and two huge fridges, free water and boards to use. I felt super safe especially because it was only women.
+ This is actually my second time visiting My Sister's house in the past 2 yrs and it's for the following reasons: genuine caring community, great wifi, short walking distance to the center such as the bus station and salsa lessons, all necessary amenities for long-term stay, affordable wellness sessions (yoga, pilates, art sessions, etc.), and staff that are often locals or long-term expats with valuable insights on how to make the most out of your trip. They know the best cafes, where is salsa or reggaeton on which nights, and of course other wellness treats (temazcal, sound therapy, breathworks, etc). I actually convinced a friend to also come down to revisit and also agrees, that she just absolutely loves the community and safe-space this hostel creates with intention. There's a deck too with tables and really strong/reliable wifi where I was able to work from easily as a digital nomad. We know that every time we stay here, we're going to have space to relax, cowork, and also have lots of fun! My favorite female-only dorm in the world.
- Highly affordable hostel, so with that being said, it's important to be realistic about some of the amenities and cleanliness of the space when sharing with lots of women travelers. Most girls would clean after themselves and didn't have many bathroom issues, but it is something to be considerate about. It's also on a busy road so I highly recommend ear plugs if sensitive to noise at night. I came prepared this second-time around!

My sister’s house is incredibly worth it for the pricing that you pay, especially if you’re staying in just a normal dorm. The dorms are clean, cold and the beds are extremely comfy. It’s such a welcoming, peaceful place to stay. The hosts and the volunteers are always available for questions, are super helpful and have great recommendations for the area. The hostel is right next to a café, a supermarket and a pharmacy so you can get anything you need in a two minute walk. I would 100%rec...
- The toilet was wasting water. it needs to be fix. the toilet inside the room.
+ Property is located within walking distance to everything you could possibly need or wish to do. Lots of shared open spaces to relax, connect with other guests or join in a yoga, meditation or ceremonial offering.
- Can’t think of anything

+ Mignon facile accès proche de tout sécuritaire
- tout était bien
+ Amazing place with great vibes. I really loved my stay and felt very welcome. I’d highly recommend it, especially for solo travelers. It’s easy to meet great people and discover the best spots in town. They also offer yoga and other classes, which is a big plus. The check in was smooth and the staff were very flexible with my reservation. I’d happily stay here again.
- The street can be a bit noisy, so if you’re looking for total privacy and quiet, this might not be the best fit. That said, on weekdays it was fairly quiet at night after midnight. Also, water isn’t available all the time at the hostel, and there are general water shortages in the town, so it’s worth checking the schedule in advance. I missed it a couple of times and had to wait a few hours for the water to come back. Overall, still a good experience.
Every city needs to have a women only hostel. I spent the best week surrounded by badass and inspiring women. Great location, super sweet staff, and I slept super well. Muchas Gracias chicas!
