Hostel Oktarin

Only stayed for the airport. Sorta got bad vibes as I was the only one there which felt weird but all was good. The host was very nice and the balcony had a great view. Didn’t end up using the kitchen so I can’t say. Felt like someone was living there based of the shared bathroom.

El mejor hostel en el que estuve hasta ahora! Se siente como una casa. Súper tranquilo y a solo 50 metros de la playa. Gran lugar para estar varios días y relajar! El dueño es muy amable con todos, súper atento a las necesidades de los viajeros. Me acerco al aeropuerto dado que queda solo a 5’ en auto. Es un poco lejos del centro pero vale la pena, hay un colectivo que te lleva y trae y es súper puntual. Buen lugar para relajar y disfrutar del aire libre!

Hostel Oktarin is a great place to stay to be close to the beach and is located close to the airport. It's a 7 minute Uber or Bolt from the airport. Bartul, the host, was great and provided a pleasant experience.

I loved staying at Hostel Oktarin! Some may think it’s too far out of Split, but in reality it’s only a half hour bus ride and you get to enjoy the peacefulness of the charming Kastela area. This is a very chill and clean hostel that has everything you need. It’s also less than a minute from the sea! Thanks for having me!

Ein sehr gemütliches Hostel, mit ungeheuer angenehmen Garten zum Verweilen und Aufenthalt. Ebenso der kurze Weg zum Meer, die Ruhe, schnelle Erreichbarkeit der Supermärkte zu Fuß, und dies alles direkt beim Flughafen bzw. an der Küste zwischen Trogir und Split. Vielen Dank

I spent a few days in Kaštela and had the best time! The place is beautiful, just a two minute walk from the beach. The hostel’s owner was incredibly welcoming, and the people I met there made the experience even more special. I’ll definitely come back!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this hostel was honestly amazing i had to. Super chill vibe, lush garden, great kitchen and facilities. Right next to the beach, supermarket just up the road, and the aircon was great. The owner is such a legend, so kind and communicative… even gave me a lift to the airport. It’s a bit out of Split, but I loved that. Way more relaxing, with lovely bars and restaurants nearby, and easy to get into city via bus or Uber. Highly recommend staying here!

An amazing hostel right by the beach. The owner was lovely and super accommodating, giving recommendations for things to do in split. Split itself is a little far but I found going to Trogir and getting the ferry was a very scenic route and. Super close to the airport and very convenient

After we rang the bell, the staff came and we were given basic information about the place and the surrounding area. We also received very useful email about Split, where to go...etc. If you want to move away from the city air, this is the perfect chilled and quite place for 2-3 or even more days of relaxation in the garden or a few steps along the beach.

The host was very welcoming and accommodating to our travel schedule, he was very friendly and flexible. This was a beautiful location right next to the beach and we enjoyed our day. It was about a 5 minute bus ride and 10 minute walk from the airport— very easy. We used the kitchen and laundry facilities, and all was very well maintained and easy to use. Great stay! It is about an hour bus ride from Split city center or an easy uber. Felt very safe and there is a supermarket nearby

Terrible experience. Online said check in closed 23:00, I arrived 22:20 and no one at reception. I looked but couldn’t find anyone so found empty room with four beds and went sleep. Was woken up by the owner shouting at me telling me to leave, it was scary I had to quickly gather all my things and move rooms. He said I should’ve rung the bell at reception but the ‘bell’ was just a switch on the wall, there should’ve been a BIG SIGN SAYING RING BELL. He made me pay cash on spot. Never c...

Really great place for what we were looking for. We had an early flight the next morning and had just gotten off a week sail trip. It was great to have a quiet place with easy access to a non-crowded beach, a well stocked kitchen to cook in, and a great yard with many seats to lounge in. We would have loved to have AC but they did have multiple fans in the room which kept it manageable on one of the hottest days. The owner was very nice and accommodating.

We had a great stay here. Owner was super lovely and accomodating. Close to the airport, local beach and beach bar as well as plenty of super markets and bus stop 5minutes up the road. We were able to use all of the kitchen appliances easily. Owner was chatty and super helpful. Make sure you take your mozzy spray so you can enjoy the balcony!

The landlord was very good and helpful person

This was a nice hostel for a one night stay before our early morning flight. The proximity to the airport was ideal, though the location was a bit odd. Everything was clean and staff was very kind. Our main and only complaint was that the room we stayed in was unbearably hot and muggy, even with three fans going all night long and the window open. It made for a very uncomfortable night, unfortunately. If the room had air conditioning or better circulation, my rating would be better.
