This hostel has everything. A great location, clean rooms & bathrooms and great hanging out spots. The towels provided were large and we got robes. My friend and I were in a private double and it felt like a hotel. Kitchen was a bit small but we weren’t cooking anyway. I’d love to stay here again.
Great hostel. Rooms are really spacious and the beds very comfortable. Facilities in general were great, including excellent showers, big kitchen and a few different communal areas to watch TV or read a book. There were a lot of things which make things easier for backpackers including free towel, and free items for cooking like milk, spices, olive oil etc. They also organised events which help to meet other travellers, like the yoga classes. Staff were friendly and welcoming at check in.
Possibly the best hostel in Wellington!
Didn’t have the best time at the Marion, very noisy but ideal location. Right in the centre of town. Room 12 could do with some curtains. If you’re in the top bunk it’s like it’s midday when trying to sleep
my very first hostel experience ! booked my stay right before my plane took off to wellington - they had availability for what i was looking for & the reception answered my email in an extremely timely manner inquiring about a late check in the day of. very social place, staff are very nice, it's basically walking distance to everything and met a bunch of new friends! would 1000% stay here again !!
Absolutely fantastic hostel. Everything is perfect.
Amazing location, clean and comfortable facilities!
The best hostel facilities but the atmosphere is super quiet
Parfait ! je recommande. Personnel adorable, très propre et bien situé
My favourite hostel in New Zealand. The rooms were big & the hostel very clean. The free tea & coffee is a nice touch. I also found this hostel to be the most social & have already recommended it to a friend who is due to visit Wellington.
Loved it but no elevator is a let down
Very nice hostel with so much to offer. Sometimes felt like it wasn't the most social despite having multiple communal rooms. It was very clean and felt very safe.
Amazing hostel - super clean, great beds with curtains and plug and shelves, fab chilling areas. Amazing showers. Kitchen also great, if a bit cramped at peak times. It was social in that it was easy to chat to people in the kitchen and everyone was friendly however there were no organised events (there was a crafts one advertised but I went to it and it seemed it had been cancelled).
Great rooms and facilities. The free tea and coffee is such a nice touch! It was a bit hard to meet people here and the activities advertised on Hostelworld didn’t seem to take place. Two areas to improve: the ladders to get to the top bunks are lethal and the shower heads in the shared facilities need a good clean. Overall would definitely recommend and would stay again.
Overall really nice hostel! Spacious beds and showers, with a friendly and helpful staff. It’s in a nice location with only a two minute walk to Cuba street. Would stay here again!
great and clean hostel, bed was very comfy
Worth the money
The most amazing hostel. Staff are increadible. Free tea and coffee and breakfast on a weekend. Everyone wad so lovley couldnt be in a better location.
Such a great hostel with great location! Very very clean and luxurious vibes all around! Beds are super comfortable and there’s lot of space + a side table, lamps and sockets! Kitchen is very well equipped and multiple lounge areas ensure that you’ll always find peaceful corner or social spaces - whatever your feeling!
Very clean and modern hostel, I would book again and again. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. The only small criticism is that there are no larger lockers in the room where you can store your larger suitcase.
