Good spot for an overnight stay. Hot in the bunks but okay with the curtains open a touch. Blackout curtains. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Simple free breakfast. Vibe was a touch off.
The hostel is in a prime location, very close to the city centre, a bus or railway stop, which makes it very accessible to the airport. The reception staff were very polite and helped me with a lot of questions. It's the perfect place for backpackers. Toilets were clean and neat. Just that the outside was a bit noisy, which is unavoidable by the staff, but if you are a solo traveller and looking for a couple of nights, it's a good place to go.
10/10 cannot fault this place, will be back. Staff run this hostel with efficiency and cleanliness. Friendly and helpful.
Always great to stay here!!
Very proper rooms and friendly staff
Good place overall. It would have been nice to have some information about what to see and do on Birmingham. Plus recommended places locally to eat and enjoy. Maybe petty but very little place to hang towels and sit to put shoes on in the dormitory. In the language list there are many countries / regions absent.
I had a great staying in this hostel. It is a clean, calm and nice place. A special thank you to Zaltan and the staff, they are so gentle and lovely!
Loved the fact they had hair dryers in the bathroom, but the location was in an industrial area, and was a bit scary to walk though at night.
Very last minute emergency booking whilst filming in Birmingham. Arrived 20 mins after I'd booked online, everything was sorted and the check in super quickly. Everything was perfect for the few hours rest I needed. Clean and peaceful.
Good location and decent folks there, but the atmosphere was not a good one. Rooms smelled like a nonstop axe bomb, but comfy/clean besides that. No outside alcohol and limited common areas made it more of a "cheap place to sleep" vibe vs a place to meet people or hang out.
Great hostel. Stayed in a private room with an ensuite and it was perfect. Didn't feel cramped and was clean. Plus free tea and coffee in the rooms! All the staff were super friendly and breakfast of fruit and toast is provided for free too. Only thing it's the walls are quite thin so it's sometimes a bit noisy with doors closing and hearing other people's conversations so wouldn't recommend for a light sleeper. But we had a great time. Would definitely stay here again.

+ Staff were nice. Secure system with the front door and the rooms so felt safe. Appreciated the blinds on the beds.
- I can handle a bit grim but the toilets were just too grim. The place needs a thorough deep clean and gave the impression that it's just hoovered once a day. Toilets were so grim. My pillow had a stain on it. It was a bit like a student house. I've paid the same price in the UK before and whilst it's always basic, I've never stayed somewhere where with such a poor hygiene situation.
