Hostel Flakos

Honestly this place was so so awesome. There's a nice mini grocery store with everything you could need, awesome really cute and kind dogs, the staff are genuine and helpful, the pool is awesome, and there is public beach access less than 100 yards away. Very accommodating and just a really enjoyable place to be.

First step ln the terrein was in Dog Poop. After cleaning from the shoes still Smelled it all night. Woke up with hundreds of Ants. No warm water. Boss can’t handle criticism. Because we shouldn’t have booked the “Cheapest” accommodation ak. €141,- for a minimum of 2 nights in a 4p private tent. He bragged with Glamping which means Glamoureus Camping. Which its absolutely far from reality. At 20:00/21:00 it’s all quite and silent till 8:00 in the morning. Nothing to do. Don’t reco...

Hostel Flakos is a very special place. From the fairy lights on the tents when I arrived at night, to the tastefully constructed and designed private rooms, and my favorite, the huge outdoor shower, big enough to hang out in as another room, as it has a seating bench as well. 😊 It provides a well stocked kitchen, and lots of seating outdoors to eat or work on computer. Sebastian is a gracious host/owner and Coco the housekeeper is the best. I highly recommend hostel flakos.

The people at Hostel Flakos were welcoming, inviting, and informative. The dorm tents get hot during the day but are comfortable at night. There is some sound at night from the road, but you can also hear the ocean from the tents. The hostel is close to restaurants and mini markets. If you are looking for a place to lay low and see beautiful sunsets on the beach, stay at Hostel Flakos.

Best hostel on Playa Blanca! Facilities are well-maintained and clean. Glamping tents are spacious and well-decorated. Sebastian, Samara and the volunteers were very kind and welcoming, with many recommendations. Good location with a little store nearby and a handful of restaurants within walking distance. Only downside is that the tents get a bit warm in the heat, but good thing the beach is just a 2 minute walk away! Highly recommend :)

We had an amazing time at Hosel Flakos. It is a beautiful place with shade, hammocks and coconuts very close to the ocean where we saw whales and dolphins! There is a small supermarket right around the corner and Sebastian knows great and local places for delicious food and drinks. We are very grateful for Sebastian and Coco who made our stay so wonderful and welcome :)

It was a lovely stay, I will come again when I am in the area. Super nice atmosphere, everything you need, it's safe, close to the beach, nice and cozy with a lot of attention to decoration details.
