Uprising Beach Resort

I stayed here years ago and enjoyed it. However, this time the place looks run down and the atmosphere wasn’t good. The continental breakfast was relatively expensive and disgusting. The bunkhouse feels as if it’s in the process of closing down.

Reception is amazing, Lovely and helpful. Staff in general is nice. Dormitory was disgusting, old and durty. Restaurant is not good, I was worried to get food poisoning. except the morning breakfast who's OK.

Right on the beach and pool was nice. Had a fire show one of the evenings. The dorm was pretty empty when we were there. Quite a lot of bugs especially in the bathroom. Staff were nice

Stayed in the dorms that had hundreds of bugs, you couldn’t sleep on the top bunks as bugs kept dropping from the roof, you also had to move the beds away from the wall to prevent some of the bugs. There wasn’t Free breakfast and air conditioning in the rooms as stated online. I would recommend staying at the beach house resort instead of this as it is the same price but much nicer

Lovely resort. Me and my friend were the only ones there as it was off season but we enjoyed the stay. The beach off the resort was super murky and didn’t make for nice pictures but that didnt bother us. Staff were lovely and friendly.

We made our reservation and drive to the resort. When we arrived she said they had no rooms matching our reservation and required us to pay the in person rate for the highest value room. They would not honor the website rate, and it was quite a bit more expensive. The room was half cleaned, the rugs were on the railings outside, the ironing board with no cover was on the front porch, there were no towels, the TV did not work, half the lights were burned out, and the bed smelled like mildew.

Super nice staff, but sadly that is the only positive thing. Dorms are dirty, multiple bugs in th beds and the floors are dusty and with bugs and spider webs. The toilets are even worse, so many insects, ants all over the walls and next to the toilet a huge spider web with lots of insects in it, it looks like they haven‘t clean it since they opened the place. Some beds in the dorms are super uncomfortable and the mattress are in bad condition. I wouldn‘t recommend this place at all.

Reception-excellent Restaurant-good (some staff annoyed and not very friendly, not even trying to take my order, just pretending to “work”) There is literally nothing around the hotel… Walkable from the bus stop Reception offers tours, will book for you Very good breakfast Bathroom in the dorm house cleaned once in my 4 days and very poorly (two ladies spent most of time on their phone, then quickly wiped sink and left-terrible!) Beds in dorm not made on my arrival (had to ask)

It was not a highlight on my itinerary. The food is okay, the beach is okay. The atmosphere was not like in the other backpacking hostels, less social and was quite hard to come into contact with other travelers. Outside activities are VERY expensive (ie. Slack Line $250, white water rafting $300, etc). So if you're staying on a budget, there's not really a lot to do besides walking the beach up and down.

Great vibe, excellent friendly staff. Would love to see some full length mirrors however in rooms. Overall loved the resort.

Grands Bungalows sympas mais pas entretenus. Climatisations très sale poussiereuse, cadre de miroir cassé et réparer avec des planches et clous, pas de ceintres dans la penderie, pas une chaise, ni devant le bureau, ni sur la terrasse où il y a pourtant une petite table. Piscine écaillée pas très propre. Les +: Personnel très à l'écoute, belle plage, bar et restau sur place, animations le soir. Pour le restau, il faut savoir être très très patients....

Great resort with reasonable prices for dorms. Great atmosphere and good selection of activities provided. Very good massage

Resort was excellent, clean and staffs were very friendly. Only drawback was it did not have microwave.

Lovely location, kind staff, yummy food and a great point to start adventures from.

A bit poor overall, is a mid range resort with a hut with dorms as easy as that. Its almost empty and doesnt have any vibe at all. Beach is as bad as it could be in Nadi, would recommend for the price but thats it as it is the cheapest option around. Lunch is cheap but dinner is twice the price... 🤷🏻

Awful dorm accommodation. Severely outdated and run down. Room and bathroom covered in ants. Room was boiling hot all night, the fans in the room are useless. No curtains so you are woken up by sunlight, or by the birds nesting outside the dorm. For $60FJD this was exceptionally poor. Food at the resort was also expensive and very limited. Only plus is the staff were nice
