5 Balconi B&B

I had a lovely time staying in Cristina’s home. From the minute I arrived she was so welcoming and friendly. The home itself is beautiful, and it’s in a very genuine neighbourhood near lots of touristy parts of town. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a great bed and breakfast. Cristina and her brother are so warm and welcoming. You feel like you are staying with family. Location is just minutes walking from the center of the city

A really nice and beautiful B&B on a perfect location. The rooms are pretty with a lovely small balcony. The hosts are really kind and can help you with all your questions. They really make it feel homely. The breakfast is very tasty with lots of choice.

Wonderful place to stay; felt like home. Cristina was lovely, kind and hospitable, and offered lots of tidbits about Catania and surrounding area.

Amazing place and even more amazing people! Rob and Cristina are not only helpful, funny, smiling, but really fine people. If (hopefully) I ever get back in Catania one day, I'm gonna choose their place for sure! Beautiful and very well decorated casa, high ceilings, delicious breakfasts, helpful hosts- everything within 100 metres from the ideal centre of the city! Grazie mille, amici, e in bocca al lupo!

Amazing! This place was so wonderful the vendors are very friendly, funny and had amazing recommendations! They speak very good English also, so super easy to communicate! I was traveling alone and found the neighbourhood so safe to be in at night. I absolutely LOVED it here and would definitely come back - thank you so much for the warm welcome, hospitality and the amazing recommendations!! Xxx

Rob ist ein herausragender, äußerst aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist einmalig gut! Daher würde ich, wenn die Einstellungen das erlauben würden, dem Hostel auf jeden Fall 10 von 10 Punkten geben!

I don’t normally leave reviews but my stay at 5 Balconi B&B was amazing! Cristina was an excellent host with great information about the city. The room and bathroom were clean. The WiFi was fast. Plenty of options to eat at breakfast. A wonderfully decorated place. Overall an amazing stay!

Lovely staff!

Fantastisch! Prachtige accommodatie met karakter. Persoonlijke eigenaren, goed ontbijt en fijne kamers. Je loopt zo langs het Norman kasteel het centrum in naar leuke cafes en restaurants. De eigenaar had allemaal goeie aanbevelingen zowel in Catania als daarbuiten. Ik kom zeker graag nog een keer terug

Todo fue perfecto. Es un alojamiento de 10. El responsable del B&B no podría ser una persona más amable, nos dio grandes recomendaciones locales y el desayuno fue increíble. El sitio además de precioso está perfectamente limpio, bien ubicado y perfectamente equipado para hacerte sentir como en casa. Sencillamente perfecto!!

5 balconi is the perfect place to stay in Catania! Eccentric but cozy, the place is walking distance to all the main sights and great restaurants, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and Rob was an incredibly kind host who made sure we were set up with everything we needed. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Me and my mum had SUCH a great stay here last week. Rob and Cristina really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and at home. An absolutely delicious breakfast with tasty fresh blood orange juice and ricotta croissants, a lovely outside space on the balcony to street-watch and the whole place is full of character. They also looked after of one of our suitcases for several days in between stays when I couldn't carry it due to an injury. Can't recommend this place highly enough.
