Safestay Pisa Centrale

This is the worst bed I've ever slept on (and that's including camping). The mattress was just slightly shorter than the bed frame, so I nearly fell through trying to get into my top bunk the first time. I was able to switch which end I slept on so that at least wasn't an issue, but the mattress itself was also extremely uncomfortable. No matter what position I was in, I could feel the springs digging into me. The lockers are also too narrow for most suitcases and bigger backpacks.

I paid to extend for extra night, but not only they told me I must check out at 11 and check back in at 3pm, they also told me I must pay 3 euros so they keep my bags for these 4 hours between the bookings. Even though I'm staying another night with them! Besides that, the lady at the reception was hostile and unwelcoming.

Very nice and clean hostel. Super friendly and helpful staff especially Ruta. Loved there was an elevator but unfortunately no curtains, however I bring my own solution. Would absolutely recommend it and easy walk from Pisa Centrale. A bit further to the tower, but manageable and you could take a bus.

I could not enter the room because it smelled so shity and the bathroom was dirty and had hair everywhere in the shower

Abbiamo perso più di un ora perché la reception non trovava la nostra prenotazione, pur facendogli vedere lo screenshot con tutti i dati da parte di hostelworld la loro proposta era di ripagare la stanza, avevamo anche chiesto alla struttura di poter parlare con la persona che aveva prenotato ma si sono rifiutati, non è bastato nemmeno fargli vedere la fattura, assistenza pari a zero. Paghi anche gli asciugamani…..non mi era mai capitato.

The hostel is value for money. The dorms are very basic. Barely any facility on the bed. No curtains. No place to place tour belongings like water bottle or phone.

It was a great experience!

- only hot water in shower- couldn’t turn the cold water part on. - No place to hang anything or to put your bag/s and lockers are on the smaller side - Food decent- server didn’t seem to like whej I asked for things or change things on the burger - but not the end of the world - Can hear things all night - train and other ppl - My bed didn’t make noise but not too comfy

2nd time. Like the tidyness and convenience

Very basic hostel experience- only book if it’s a bargain or you’re on a very tight budget. They also charge you for every extra thing - lock, towel, etc., and it all feels a bit money- grabby. No curtains on the beds and bare minimum experience in the rooms - foam bed, shared bathroom, one pillow. 24 hr front desk is very helpful, and my friend and I got lucky with the girls in our room. Would not recommend for girls to get a mixed room in this hostel! Walls are also paper thin. Weird area ...

Badly need some privacy in the dorms!!

Atendimento na recepção foi muito bom, com a equipe explicando tudo sobre o funcionamento. O quarto e banheiro eram simples, mas estavam em boas condições e atenderam bem à estadia. Apenas um pequeno detalhe foi o banheiro, que tinha uma luz queimada. No geral, uma boa experiência.

Love the vibe of this place. It’s nice that it’s close to the train station, but if you have trouble sleeping with loud noises, book somewhere else because it is hard to ignore the trains without headphones or earplugs.

Decent hostel, got the job done and super close to the airport which was super convenient.

En general estuvo bien, sin embargo, las camas y almohadas estaban super incómodas, prácticamente inexistentes. Los baños viejos y sin facilidad, no existía manera de dejar cosas cerca de ti, es decir, solo estaban las camas. Los lockers estaban sucios, y no eran tan convenientes. No hay cocina, ni facilidades que puedan ayudarte en tu estadía, además de que pedimos unos cubiertos prestados y nos cobraron, casi todo tenía cobro. Overall, I’m grateful that this hostel is here. I was only stopping for a day, and it was a great and convenient option. It’s a short 5 min-ish walk from the train station. It’s a longer(and pleasant) walk(maybe 20-25 min) to the Tower if you’re interested. All of the staff I interacted with were great, and my dinner and beer were much enjoyed. It is a good location but it’s not a proper hostel in my opinion. The common area is a restaurant and there is no kitchen. It is very loud but that could also be because there were a lot of school classes staying there which screemed and ran through the corridors. The rooms are also really small but it is was very clean
