Hotel Mango Garden

Pretty hostel with nice staff and decent facilities (except the showers). Unfortunately, it was extremely quiet so I wouldn’t go here for social reasons as I was pretty much the only person there

The best thing about the hostel is the location. It's close to the lake in the centre of Kandy in a quiet street. You can walk to the centre (1 km). The hostel itself is ok. It needs a renovation. Staff is friendly.

A good value for money hotel, clean and well maintained with friendly helpful staff. They also do great pizza in the restaurant below.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Mango Garden. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly in recommending things to do around the area - including Kandian dancing. The hotel itself is lovely - very clean, spacious, good for groups, with an amazing balcony and located just off of Kandy Lake. During Cyclone Ditwah, Malik went to extraordinary lengths to help us get to the airport at risk to himself despite flooding and road closures, and we all felt in very safe hands. Can’t recommend enough!

Das Personal war super nett und hilfsbereit! Leider war das Bad sehr spärlich ausgestattet und roch nicht gut.

Nice place if you are staying in Kandy.

Chambre double privative agréable avec moustiquaire, résidence au calme, le petit déjeuner (payant) est très bon. Cependant attention à vos chaussettes, le sol rouge tâche.

El hostel es muy acogedor, y el servicio fue muy amables con nosotras. La comida del restaurante estaba rica y el hostel esta cerca del lago. Lo recomiendo muchisimo!!!

The hotel facilities are not perfect and the management is dishonest, so please be cautious when booking this hotel.

Friendly staff. Simple room. Nice breakfast.

The staff who work here are lovely and very helpful. We were there when the place was a bit of a construction site as they were redoing the restaurant and rooftop but we were unaware of this before we arrived and it was very noisy. Good private rooms with nice chill out areas both inside and outside. Good location

I spent four nights there and had a great experience. The staff is extremely helpful and welcoming. The rooms are simple but genuine and have all the necessities. Highly recommend.

Hotel mango garden was a perfect spot to stay while we were briefly in Kandy. Location was nice, by the lake and walkable or short tuk tuk to train station. Room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and just kept on coming! The real treat was the owner, who was so helpful with securing us extremely last minute tickets for the train to Ella. Without him we wouldn’t have been able to find tickets with such short notice! He even gave us a ride to the train statio...

Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Hebben me zelfs weg gebracht naar het station toen ik om 4u smorgens daar moest zijn. Altijd beschikbaar voor vragen. Ontbijt was prima. Locatie was goed. Ongeveer 10-15min lopen naar restaurants en tempel.

Staff are so amazing and kind, will go out of their way to help you. The rooms are cozy and beds are super comfy, the showers are also sooo nice and hot literally the hottest shower I’ve had in Sri Lanka. The breakfast is insane and delicious- the location is just out of the hussle out of town which is what we were after.

Super séjour avec Malik qui nous a accueilli chaleureusement et qui nous a fait visiter la ville et ses monuments. L’hôtel est spacieux, propre et très agréable. La nourriture est excellente autant pour le petit déjeuner que pour les plats : rice & curry a tester absolument ! :) Un espace SPA est également disponible Je recommande !

Good value for the amount of money

Es erfüllt seinen Zweck. Positiv -Die Dachterrasse ist super -Kostenloses gefiltertes Wasser -hilfsbereite freundliche Mitarbeiter Negativ -ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Gehört sich definitiv mal renoviert -ziemlich teuer (AC kostet ziemlich viel Aufpreis, aber Ventilator reicht zum Glück meistens)
